O discurso sobre as violências no grupo de rap Racionais MC’s

Abstract

O assunto proposto neste trabalho é buscar descortinar e entender o discurso sobre a violência inserido no gênero musical rap, especificamente nas composições do grupo Racionais MC’s, de São Paulo. Questões como a origem, a adaptação, o conteúdo, a linguagem, o ambiente e a difusão do rap no Brasil são elementos de informação e de referência para melhor compreensão das mensagens contidas nas letras do rap. Considerado arte urbana típica da pós-modernidade, o rap é tido como a voz da periferia dos grandes centros urbanos, a voz que denuncia múltiplas variações de uma violência destinada particularmente contra negros e pobres.

The subject considered in this work is to search to disclose and to understand the speech on the inserted violence in the musical sort rap, specifically in the Rational MC’s group compositions, of São Paulo. Questions as the origin, the adaptation, the content, the language, the environment and the diffusion of rap in Brazil are elements of information and reference for better understanding of the messages contained in the letters of rap. Considered typical urban art of after-modernity, rap is had as the voice of the periphery of the great urban centers, the voice that denounces multiple variations of a violence destined particularly against blacks and poor persons.
