Comunicação e pós-modernidade no Jornal Nacional e RBS Notícias: uma abordagem compreensiva

Abstract

This work has the aim of studying the social role of two News on TV shown in the time when most of the people in Brazil watch TV: The Jornal Nacional from Rede Globo, addressed to the Brazilian people and the RBS News of the RBS TV, a branch of the Rede Globo in the state of Santa Catarina, addressed to people of this state. We selected four reportages from each program that involved daily themes with social character. From the Jornal Nacional we analyzed news about the Violence, the Unemployment, The Misery and the public transportation. From the RBS News, we discussed the delay in the emission of “Carteira de Trabalho”, the help to the homeless people, the acquisition of Own Houses and the Recovering of the Environment. The theoretical reference to the research was built from Michael Maffesoli and his ideas of Communication, Empathy, Imaginary, Culture and Pos Modernity. Facing the theme complexity we used the sub notions of the Ancora man, (Squire), Journalistic Genres (Erbolatto), Image (Barthes), Image Planes (Curado) and elements of Reportage (Maciel) as a way to complement the notion of Communication. We used as methodology the Michel Maffesoli Comprehensive Sociology, which rejects the Schematic Dualism, values the Form, the way to say things, the Freedom of thinking, and relativise the Truth. For this author it is necessary to describe the already lived, been satisfied with whatever it is. In relation to the TV News role, we can say that they promote the social link, the been together in the communities they are inserted in.

Este trabalho de pesquisa tem como objetivo estudar o papel social de dois telejornais exibidos no horário nobre da Televisão brasileira: o Jornal Nacional, da Rede Globo, dirigido ao público brasileiro e o RBS Notícias, do grupo RBS, voltado aos catarinenses. Para isso, selecionamos quatro reportagens de cada programa, que envolvesse temas cotidianos de caráter social. Do Jornal Nacional, analisamos matérias sobre a Violência, o Desemprego, a Miséria e o Transporte Coletivo. Do RBS Notícias, discutimos o atraso na emissão de Carteiras do Trabalho, a ajuda aos desabrigados, a compra da Casa Própria e a recuperação do Meio Ambiente. O referencial teórico da pesquisa foi construído a partir de Michel Maffesoli e das suas noções de Comunicação, Empatia, Imaginário, Cultura e Pós-Modernidade. Diante da complexidade do tema, usamos as subnoções de Âncora (SQUIRRA), Gêneros Jornalísticos (ERBOLATTO), Imagem (BARTHES), Planos de Imagem (CURADO) e Elementos da Reportagem (MACIEL) como forma de complementar a noção de Comunicação. Utilizamos como metodologia, a Sociologia Compreensiva de Michel Maffesoli, que rejeita o Dualismo Esquemático, valoriza a Forma, o modo de dizer as coisas, a liberdade de pensamento e relativiza a Verdade. Para este autor, é preciso descrever o vivido, contentando-se com aquilo que ele é. Em relação ao papel dos telejornais, podemos dizer que eles promovem a "ligação social", o "estar-junto" nas comunidades em que estão inseridos.
