| Resumen: | Este trabalho de pesquisa objetiva investigar o desenvolvimento dos hábitos de estudo e pesquisa de alunos do Ensino Médio. Após a análise dos depoimentos coletados de entrevistas e questionários, aplicados a um grupo de alunos de segunda série do Ensino Médio de uma escola federal de Porto Alegre, pretende-se compreender como se processa o desenvolvimento dos hábitos de estudo e pesquisa de alunos do referido nível. O trabalho inicia-se com um breve relato histórico sobre a origem da pesquisa, envolvendo o comportamento do autor em relação ao estudo, quando ainda aluno, e sua preocupação, como professor, com a falta de estudo do corpo discente. Essa trajetória possibilitou justificar as razões da escolha do tema e do problema, bem como as questões de pesquisa que orientam o trabalho. Para o desenvolvimento dessa pesquisa, estruturam-se alguns caminhos teóricos norteadores que envolveram a reflexão sobre o educar pela pesquisa, a motivação do aluno e as relações interpessoais. As idéias e depoimentos dos alunos foram transcritos, categorizados e analisados, constituindo quatro grandes categorias: a concepção dos alunos sobre hábitos de estudo e pesquisa; as condições favorecedoras; os fatores que contribuem; e as estratégias e procedimentos adotados pelos alunos para o desenvolvimento dos referidos hábitos. Com isso, pretende-se compreender como se dá o desenvolvimento dos hábitos de estudo e pesquisa de alunos do Ensino Médio.
This research aims at investigating the development of studying and researching habits of High School students. After the analysis of the statements collected by means of interviews and questionnaires, submitted to a group of second graders attending High School in a federal school in Porto Alegre, the intention is to understand how the development of studying and researching habits of students belonging to that grade take place. This work starts with a brief historical report about the origins of this research, involving the behavior of the author in relation to study, when he was still a student, and his preoccupation, as a teacher, with the lack of study on the part of students. This path enabled the justification of the reasons for the choice of the theme and the problem, as well as the researching questions, which guide the work. For the development of this research, some theoretical guiding paths, which involved the thinking about educating through research, students motivation and interpersonal relationship, are structured. Students’ ideas and statements were transcribed, categorized and analyzed, generating four large categories: students’ conception on studying and researching habits; favoring conditions; contributing factors and strategies; procedures adopted by students for the development of the mentioned habits. Thus, the intention is to understand how the development of studying and researching habits of students attending High School take place. |
