| Abstract: | Esta pesquisa foi realizada em uma escola da rede privada, na cidade de Porto Alegre, com o objetivo de analisar a percepção da comunidade escolar em relação à mudança da matriz curricular no ensino de Ciências nas séries finais do Ensino Fundamental, com a proposta de estudo por disciplinas de Biologia, Física e Química. A pesquisa justifica-se pela possibilidade de avaliar a proposta a partir das suas repercussões entre os envolvidos. Para o alcance desse objetivo, a metodologia utilizada esteve centrada em uma abordagem qualitativa. Trata-se da modificação na estrutura curricular do ensino de Ciências, que com a nova proposta passou a ser trabalhada separadamente por disciplinas (Química, Física e Biologia) e com profissionais especializados nas respectivas áreas. A partir da análise dos dados coletados e do acompanhamento junto à comunidade escolar foi possível constatar que o ensino de Ciências, separado por disciplinas, é mais uma possibilidade de ensinar e preparar melhor o cidadão, num esforço contínuo de qualificar e reconstruir com o aluno uma cultura científica, para que, ao estudar os fenômenos da natureza, possa compreender sua importância para a qualificação da vida individual e coletiva.
The present study has been carried out in a private school in Porto Alegre Dry with the purpose of analyzing the perception of the school community, considering the curricular matrix change in the Science teaching, in the final grades of Primary School that suggests the division of the subject into three areas: Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The study is important, since there is the possibility to evaluate the suggestion, through the repercussions among the ones that are involved in the process. In order to achieve the objective, the methodology used was qualitative. This change means a transformation in the curricular structure of Science teaching that, with the new proposal, it started to be taught as separately subjects (Biology, Physics and Chemistry) and also by experts in the area. Through the dada analysis and the support of the school community, it was possible to verify that the Science teaching, splitted into different subjects, is another way of teaching and also preparing the citizen, in a constant effort to qualify and to rebuild a scientific culture with the cooperation of the student, that leads him/her a better understanding of its importance to the qualification of the individual and the community life, while he/she is studying nature phenomenon. |
