| Abstract: | A intenção deste trabalho é verificar o discurso do jornal O Estado de São Paulo a respeito dos assuntos referentes ao contexto da aviação brasileira levando em consideração a transformação deste discurso mediante as alterações conjunturais no cenário internacional. Emprega-se como marco temporal, os anos de 1937 à 1945, período em que o presidente Getúlio Vargas estabeleceu no Brasil um governo ditatorial denominado Estado Novo. O objetivo geral deste trabalho é compreender como a aeronáutica brasileira foi utilizada, nas páginas do OESP, como um instrumento adaptado a servir ao projeto de construção do nacionalismo. Procura-se assinalar, entre outros aspectos, a forma com que o discurso da imprensa em relação a este instrumento foi sendo moldado de acordo com as propostas políticas defendidas por Vargas, onde se destaca a idéia de integração nacional e plano desenvolvimentista do Brasil. Além disso, busca-se uma análise da ruptura do discurso empregado pela imprensa, sendo esta porta-voz do governo ditatorial, após o rompimento das relações diplomáticas e a declaração de guerra aos países do Eixo. Muitos são os trabalhos existentes sobre o período escolhido para exame na presente dissertação, sem haver, contudo um aprofundamento da análise de um meio de comunicação da época que contemplasse a aviação nacional como um instrumento de propaganda.
The intention of this work is to verify the speech of the periodical O Estado de São Paulo regarding the referring subjects to the context of Brazilian aviation taking in consideration the transformation of this speech by means of the conjunctural alterations in the international scene. It is used as secular landmark, the years of 1937 to the 1945, period where president Getúlio Vargas established in Brazil a called ditatorial government New State. The general objective of this work is to understand as the Brazilian aeronautics was used, in the pages of OESP, as a suitable instrument to serve to the project of construction of the nationalism. It is looked to designate, among others aspects, the form with that the speech of the press in relation to this instrument was being molded in accordance with the proposals politics defended for Vargas, where if detaches the idea of national integration and plain desenvolvimentista of Brazil. Moreover, an analysis of the rupture of the speech used for the press searchs, being this spokesman of the ditatorial government, after the disruption of the diplomatical relations and the declaration of war to the countries of the Axle. Many are the existing works on the period chosen for examination in the present dissertação, without having, however a deepening of the analysis of a media of the time that contemplated national aviation as a propaganda instrument. |
