| Resumen: | Esta dissertação apresenta a análise da relação identitária, manifestada na criação literária, estabelecida entre sujeito urbano e cidade, com especial atenção à escrita feminina contemporânea. À luz do aporte teórico composto por Roland Barthes, Walter Benjamin, Beatriz Resende, Kevin Lynch, Giulio Argan, Renato Cordeiro Gomes, Heloisa Buarque de Hollanda, James Hillman, entre outros, procurou-se verificar reflexos e influências do ambiente urbano no mundo interior do indivíduo, sobretudo no que diz respeito à busca pessoal de identificação com o lugar no qual se vive. O corpus literário é formado pelos romances intitulados Lugares que não conheço, pessoas que nunca vi, de Cecília Giannetti e Algum Lugar, de Paloma Vidal. O principal aspecto de análise e reflexão, na primeira obra, é a consequência traumática da violência urbana imprimida na protagonista. Em relação à segunda narrativa, será destacada a procura pessoal da personagem por uma correspondência afetiva e o estabelecimento de uma sensação de conforto frente ao lugar no qual está vivendo ou visitando. Sob essa perspectiva, será observada a relação entre identidade velada das protagonistas e suas trajetórias no cotidiano citadino. Da mesma forma, o estudo pretende evidenciar a relação entre as cidades literárias apresentadas – Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires e Los Angeles – e as cidades correspondentes no mundo real e concreto, destacando a existência desse diálogo por meio da aproximação da cidade no texto com a cidade conhecida por escritores e leitores.
This dissertation presents the analysis of the relationship of identity, as manifested in literary creation, established between urban subject and the city, with special attention to contemporary feminist writing. Through the theories composed of Roland Barthes, Walter Benjamin, Beatriz Resende, Kevin Lynch, Giulio Argan, Renato Cordeiro Gomes, Heloisa Buarque de Hollanda, James Hillman, among others, I have tried to check reflexes and influences of the urban environment in the inner world of the individual, and I have also tried to show the personal quest for identification with the place where one live. The literary corpus is formed by the novels entitled “Lugares que não conheço, pessoas que nunca vi”, by Cecilia Giannetti, and “Algum Lugar”, by Paloma Vidal. The main aspect of analysis and reflection in the first work is the result of urban violence drastically presented in the protagonist. Regarding the second narrative, the search will be highlighted by a character's personal correspondence and the establishment of an emotional feeling of comfort towards where you are living or visiting. From this perspective, it is observed the relationship between the identity of the protagonists and their path through the daily routine. Likewise, the study aims at highlighting the relationship between literary cities – Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Los Angeles – and their equivalent in the real and concrete world, highlighting the existence of this dialogue through the approach of the city presented in the text and the city known by writers and readers. |
