| Resumen: | This study aims to analyze the creation process of the poet Mário Faustino to observe his interaction with the aesthetic disruptions that occurred in the early twentieth century, in particular, investigating the reflection that such languages operate in the constitution of his lyrical subject, which reveals its fragmentation, consisting of multiple voices. Within this approach the study observes the treatment which the poet dispenses to typical resources from visual arts, such as the cubist collage, the ideograms, and the cinematographic setting, as well as exploring the metalanguage and the reinterpretation of the classic myth, proposing a revitalized and specialized language in traditional forms such as the sonnet and the ode. The corpus is compound by Mário Faustino’s poems and his essays about poetry, having as support his writing essays on poetry in order to find the reflections that led him into his poetic project. As for the method, the research is of a basic nature, therefore it intends to propose a new hermeneutic perspective to the study of Faustino’s poetry, seeking to enrich the critical apparatus about his work. By goal, it is descriptive/explanatory, since it not only describes the phenomena, but is also interested in identifying the factors that determine or contribute to their occurrences. By procedure, it is part of the documentary research, using, not just the usual theoretical references of literature, (such as books and scientific papers), which are provided from non analytical resources like newspapers, magazines, letters and interviews. The theoretical bases are supported by the studies about modern poetry from Hugo Friedrich, the poetic approach in the studies from Mikhail Bakhtin and the essays from T. S. Eliot. Through the analysis of Mário Faustino’s style and his relation with the contemporary works, this dissertation examines the new propositions of poetic language contained in his work. This exam reaches the conclusion that the poetic self occurs in his poems as a result of a reflection about the modern concept of depersonalization, culminating in the experience attained by Fernando Pessoa.
Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar o processo de criação de Mário Faustino para observar como o autor interage com as rupturas estéticas do início do século XX, bem como investigar as implicações desses movimentos na produção do poeta. Ressalta-se o caráter fragmentário do poema e a constituição de um sujeito lírico que se desdobra em múltiplas vozes. Dentro desse enfoque, o estudo analisa o aproveitamento que o poeta dá a recursos criativos típicos de outras artes, como a colagem cubista, os ideogramas e a montagem cinematográfica, além de explorar o metapoema e a releitura dos mitos clássicos, propondo uma linguagem revitalizada e espacializada para formas tradicionais, como a ode e o soneto. O corpus é constituído pela obra poética de Faustino, tendo como apoio sua escrita ensaística sobre poesia, com o fim de compreender as reflexões que o encaminharam em seu projeto poético. Quanto ao método, a pesquisa é de natureza básica, pois pretende propor uma nova perspectiva hermenêutica aos estudos da poesia faustiniana, buscando enriquecer a fortuna crítica sobre sua obra. Por objetivo, é descritiva/explicativa, uma vez que não apenas descreve os fenômenos, mas interessa-se também por identificar os fatores que determinam ou que contribuem para sua ocorrência. Por procedimento, insere-se na pesquisa documental, utilizando não somente as referências teóricas usuais da pesquisa bibliográfica (como livros e trabalhos científicos), recorrendo ainda a fontes mais diversificadas e sem tratamento analítico, como jornais, revistas, artigos, cartas e depoimentos. Darão aporte teórico ao trabalho os estudos sobre poesia moderna, realizados por Hugo Friedrich; a abordagem sobre linguagem poética, desenvolvida pelo teórico Mikhail Bakhtin, e a ensaística de T. S. Eliot. O estudo examina a proposta faustiniana por uma nova linguagem em poesia, a partir da análise de marcas textuais e de seu diálogo com as obras inovadoras de alguns poetas contemporâneos, chegando a constatar que a construção do sujeito lírico em seus poemas realiza-se a partir de uma reflexão sobre a despersonalização na poesia moderna, a qual culmina na experiência alcançada por Fernando Pessoa. |
