A ficcionalização do real no livro-reportagem Abusado: o dono do morro Dona Marta, de Caco Barcellos

Abstract

O presente estudo tem, por objetivos, analisar os pontos de aproximação entre a reportagem e a narrativa literária e discutir a ficcionalização da realidade pelo discurso jornalístico. Para isso, o livro-reportagem Abusado: o dono do morro Dona Marta, do jornalista Caco Barcellos, é examinado sob os pressupostos teóricos do jornalismo e submetido ao método de análise de enunciados ficcionais proposto por Gérard Genette, em que são contemplados a temporalidade da narrativa – efeitos de ordem, duração e freqüência –, o modo – regulação da informação através da distância e da perspectiva – e a voz – marcas deixadas no texto pelo narrador. Também são discutidos os conceitos de notícia, reportagem, literariedade, ficcionalidade e modelização, bem como as técnicas empregadas pelo new journalism.

This study has, for goals, to analyse points of similarity between the reportage and the literary narrative and discuss the fictionalisation of the reality by the journalistic discourse. Therefore, the nonfiction novel Abusado: o dono do morro Dona Marta, by the journalist Caco Barcellos, is examined under theoretical assumption of the journalism and submitted to the fictional narrative analysis method proposed by Gérard Genette, which have include the narrative temporality – order, duration and frequency effects –, the mood – regulation of information through the distance and perspective – and the voice – marks left by the narrator in the text. The concepts of news, reportage, literariness, fictionality, modelling and the techniques employed by the new journalism are also discussed.
