| Abstract: | The goal of this thesis is to analyze how the changes in the world of work are materialized and have an impact on the work developed by social workers, trying to contribute with subsidies to strengthen and improve working conditions and relations. The research took place in the north eastern part of Rio Grande do Sul – Brasil, with social workers who are acting there in different socio-occupational environments. The changes that are happening in the last three decades due to the economic crises and to the reconfiguration of capitalism have a core impact on the social and technical of work itself and, consequently, in the work processes in which the professional occupations are developed. This object of research is the specialized work developed by social workers. Methodologically, we privileged the study over the social changes, through a bibliographic review and synthesis, aiming to understand the main historical, social and structural components and highlight their determinations towards the world of work. We focused also on the elaboration of a brief characterization of the region in which the research took place, identifying components that contributed to the local bounds with the social project. We used an exploratory and mixed approach, emphasizing the qualitative view, what made possible the analysis from data of questionnaires applied to social workers in duty on the region, in different working places. The results of analysis evidenced that, through neoliberal policies and productive restructuring, the changes in the organization and management of work have an equal effect for Social Work, affecting their daily demands, such as the structural fragility of working environments, the lack of regulation and the loosening of those, which are expressions of the poor conditions and working relationships on the health of the workers.
Analisar como as transformações do mundo do trabalho se materializam e repercutem no trabalho realizado por assistentes sociais, com finalidade de contribuir com subsídios para fortalecer e aprimorar as condições e relações de trabalho, configura-se como objetivo central dessa Tese. A pesquisa foi realizada na Região Noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul – Brasil com assistentes sociais que estão exercendo a profissão em diferentes espaços sócio-ocupacionais. As transformações que vem ocorrendo nas últimas três décadas, por decorrência da crise do capital e reconfigurações do capitalismo, incidem nuclearmente na divisão social e técnica do trabalho e, por consequência, nos processos de trabalho em que se desenvolvem as ocupações profissionais. A pesquisa situa o trabalho especializado, desenvolvido por assistentes sociais, como objeto da investigação. No percurso metodológico, privilegiou-se estudo sobre as transformações societárias, por meio de revisão bibliográfica e sistematização, visando compreender os principais componentes históricos, sócio-estruturais, e, evidenciar suas determinações para com o mundo do trabalho; privilegiou-se a elaboração de uma breve caracterização da região em que se realiza a pesquisa, situando-a e identificando componentes que contribuem para a vinculação local com os projetos societários. Utilizou-se de uma abordagem de caráter exploratório do tipo misto, com ênfase no qualitativo, que possibilitou as análises a partir de dados originários de questionários, aplicados para assistentes sociais que atuam na região, em diversos espaços de trabalho. Os resultados da análise evidenciaram que, por meio das políticas neoliberais e reestruturação produtiva, as transformações na organização e gestão do trabalho, igualmente repercutem sobre o trabalho do Serviço Social, com efeitos sobre as demandas cotidianas, a precarização estrutural dos espaços e ambientes de trabalho, a desregulamentação e a flexibilização, que determinam expressões da precarização das condições e relações de trabalho e sobre a saúde das/os trabalhadoras/es. |
