| Abstract: | Este trabalho partiu de minha convicção de que para ser uma boa professora é necessário, antes de tudo, estar bem consigo mesma, contar com saúde e bom humor. Busco esclarecer o bem-estar e o mal-estar docente, em um grupo de educadores que atua na EJA, numa escola da rede municipal de ensino, baseada nos princípios da Escola Cidadã, situada na periferia de Porto Alegre. Este estudo de caso, de cunho qualitativo, problematizou as percepções dos educadores (professores e equipe diretiva) e dos alunos acerca das fontes de pressão na docência e de como estas influenciam as relações docente-discente. Os dados foram coletados por meio de questionários padronizados e entrevistas por pautas e analisados por meio da técnica da análise de conteúdo. Os resultados evidenciam que as professoras e professores apreciam seu trabalho, sentem prazer e satisfação com ele, mas mesmo assim, sofrem com alguns aspectos. Os baixos salários, as constantes substituições a colegas ausentes, o elevado número de carga horária semanal e a interação com os alunos são alguns dos fatores que contribuem para aumentar a pressão laboral, que pode levar os educadores a um corte da implicação pessoal com seu trabalho.
This works began by my own conviction that to be a good teacher is necessary, before everything, to be well with yourself, to count on health and good mood. I want to clarify that well-being and the teacher malaise, in a group of educators that acts in the EJA, a school of the municipal net of education, based on the principles of the School Citizen, situated in the periphery of Porto Alegre. This case study, the stamp of quality, problematize the perceptions of the educators (teachers and directive team) and the students about the sources of pressure on the teaching and how these affect the relation between teacher - students. The data had been collected through standardized questionnaires and interviews for guidelines and analyzed questionnaires by means of the technique of the content analysis. The results show that the teachers and professors appreciate their work, feel pleasure and satisfaction with it, but even though, they suffer with some aspects. The low wages, the constant substitutions by the absence of colleagues, the high number of weekly hours and the interaction with the pupils are some of the factors that contribute to increase the labor pressure which can lead to a cut of educators personal involvement with his work. |
