Estado de exceção permanente: a condição humana e a política no Ocidente entre a vida (nua) e o (bio)poder no pensamento de Giorgio Agamben

Abstract

A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar a condição política no Ocidente e a estreita relação entre a vida nua e o biopoder no pensamento de Giorgio Agamben. O ponto de partida da exposição situa-se em sua construção teórica que precede o projeto homo sacer, uma proposta sem cisões e enquadramentos ou classificações entre estética/arte e política, o que permite captar a potencialidade de seu pensamento. Referida proposta filosófica proporciona uma leitura crítica da modernidade e da forma como se estruturou o pensamento ocidental. Desse modo, pretende-se analisar como a vida humana está posta na centralidade da cena política e de que forma ocorre sua captura no interior da máquina governamental que opera em uma relação de exceção, tornando a vida nua descartável por meio da decisão soberana. Levando-se em conta a centralidade do conceito de vida no pensamento do autor, é possível articular uma ontologia da vida liberada do legado ontológico que, focado no sujeito, tem estruturado a ontologia e a ética ao longo dos séculos no Ocidente. A partir dos conceitos de inoperosidade, uso e forma-de-vida, propõem-se traços indicativos de uma ontologia da vida – enquanto potência e possibilidade. O desafio consiste em (re)pensar novos usos e formas-devida diante da biopolítica que define e determina a vida nos tempos que correm – a tarefa por excelência do pensamento e da filosofia que vem.

The aim of the present research is to analyzing the political position in the Western World and the close relationship between bare life and biopower in Giorgio Agamben's view. The starting point of the exposition is based on its theoretical construction that precedes the homo sacer project, which is a proposal with no divisions, framing or classifications, among aesthetics/art and politics, which enables to acquire the potentiality of his reflection. The philosophical proposal provides a critical understanding of modernity and the way Western reasoning was structured. In this way, we intend to analyze how human life is placed in the centrality of the political scene and in what form its capture takes place inside the governmental machine that operates in a relation of exception, turning bare life disposable through the sovereign decision. Taking into account the centrality of the concept of life of the author's thought, it is possible to articulate an ontology of life liberated from the ontological legacy focused on the individual, has structured ontology and ethics over the centuries in the West. From the concepts of inoperosity, use and form-of-life, pose traits indicative of an ontology of life – as potency and possibility. The challenge dwells in reevaluate new uses and life-forms having in mind the biopolitics that defines and determines life these times – the essential task of thought and the upcoming Philosophy.
