Jornal O Nacional, Diário de Manhã e bairro Leonardo Ilha: contextos e produção de sentido no jornalismo

Abstract

Our work has as object the speech study, contemplating of sense production, in a verbal e non-verbal level, of six self-referencing Photographs, in the year 2003, by inhabits of the Leonardo Ilha block, in Passo Fundo/RS; so as, of six news, about this community, published, among January an December of the same year, by the O Nacional e Diário da Manhã newspapers, both with a diary circulation in the city. The theorical sustentation of our research will be built in base of Roland Barthes presumptions, by intermediate of five categories, a priori: Speech (Normal Pyramid, Mixed and Inverted; and Photograph), Stereotypy, Myth, Power and Sociolet (Encratic and Acratic); with the appearing, a posteriori, of the category News. The proposed reflections are anchored by Dialectic Historic-Structural (DHS) and by Semiologics methodological technique. We found, after the realization of semiologics reading, some evidences about the relation among Photographs taken by the community and the news published by the newspapers. The first ones, although are characterized by the production of a Speech impregnated by many Stereotypes and Myths built and let out by the bourgeois society, are the expression of an Acratic Sociolet, therefore, configured at the border of Power. Their figures more commons are: denounce of carelessness incarnated by the figure of the public administration and the vindication for attention and care, in special for the women and the children. In the other hand, the act of speech in the newspapers, hidden under the impartiality sign, express an Encratic Sociolet. Their texts are built through the appropriation of a structure that reproduces the goods and consumerism of capitalist society, or better, of information in few space for consume, making the news merchandise. Besides, it deforms the talks of the community, suffocating it Speech, trough the cuttings and the spaces destined to it, so at what concern the verbal information, as a non-verbal, imposing it a subjection condition and transforming their character in pure object, with the finality of guarantying dominant class maintenance.

Nosso trabalho tem como objetivo o estudo da discursividade, contemplando a produção de sentido, em nível verbal e não-verbal, de seis Fotografias auto-referenciais realizadas no ano de 2003 por moradores do bairro Leonardo Ilha, em Passo Fundo/RS; assim como de seis notícias sobre esta comunidade publicadas, entre janeiro e dezembro do mesmo ano, pelos jornais O Nacional e Diário da Manhã, ambos com circulação diária no município. A sustentação teórica da nossa pesquisa será construída com base nos pressupostos de Roland Barthes, por intermédio de cinco categorias, a priori: Discurso (Pirâmides Normal, Mista e Invertida; e Fotografia), Estereótipo, Mito, Poder e Socioleto (Encrático e Acrático); com o surgimento, a posteriori, das categorias Cultura e Notícia. As reflexões propostas estão ancoradas no Método Dialético Histórico-Estrutural (DHE) e pela técnica metodológica da Semiologia. Encontramos, depois da realização da leitura semiológica, algumas evidências sobre a relação entre as Fotografias feitas pela comunidade e as Notícias publicadas pelos jornais. As primeiras, apesar de se caracterizarem pela produção de um Discurso impregnado por muitos Estereótipos e Mitos construídos e divulgados pela sociedade burguesa, são a expressão de um Socioleto Acrático, portanto, configurado à margem do Poder. Suas figuras mais comuns são: a denúncia do descaso encarnado pela figura da administração pública e a reivindicação por atenção e cuidado, em especial com as mulheres e as crianças. Em contrapartida, a discursividade dos jornais, escondida sob o signo da imparcialidade, expressa um Socioleto Encrático. Seus textos são construídos através da apropriação de uma estrutura que reproduz as condições de mercadoria e consumo da sociedade capitalista, ou seja, de muita informação em pouco espaço para consumo, fazendo da Notícia uma mercadoria. Além disso, deformam as falas da comunidade, sufocando seu Discurso através dos recortes e dos espaços destinados a ela, tanto no que tange à informação verbal quanto à não-verbal, impondo-lhe uma condição de assujeitamento e transformando seus personagens em puro objeto, com a finalidade de garantir a manutenção da classe dominante.
