Vivências de alunos jovens em escolas de ensino médio

Abstract

Este estudo problematizou as vivências dos jovens alunos em escolas de ensino médio da rede privada de ensino da cidade de Porto Alegre. Os objetivos foram compreender como os jovens percebem as escolas que estudam, verificar como analisam o processo de ensino e aprendizagem e investigar como percebem os convívios no ambiente escolar. O método utilizado é o qualitativo e a coleta de dados foi feita através de entrevistas individuais semiestruturadas com oito jovens, cinco meninas e três meninos estudantes do ensino médio. Os dados foram submetidos a uma análise de conteúdo que gerou as seguintes categorias: a escola; o ensinar e o aprender; o convívio. Os resultados mostram: a escola é apreciada pelos alunos quando oportuniza a convivência e o encontro entre amigos; as turmas de alunos estão divididas em sub-grupos que os alunos denominam panelas; a trajetória escolar é marcada pela diferença entre o ensino fundamental, principalmente de primeira à quarta série e o ensino médio; os jovens sentem a necessidade de serem ouvidos para isto desejam que a instituição abra canais de participação; o processo de ensino e aprendizagem é questionado pelos alunos; o ensino enfatiza a preparação para o exame vestibular; os alunos destacam o convívio com a equipe diretiva, principalmente direção e Serviço de Orientação Educacional, professores e colegas; a expectativa com relação aos professores é grande, por isto ser professor não basta, é preciso ser um super-herói.

This study was about the youg students and their life problems at privaty high school in Porto Alegre city the objectives werw to understand were the youg students realize the school were they study. It was to see how they analyse the process of teaching and learning. It was to investigate how they realize beeing together at school environment. The method used was qualitative and the data were collected by individual interviews half structured with eight students, five girls and three boys from the high school. The ansewrs were analised and it originate the follow category: the school, the teaching and learning, to live together. The results showed that they like the school when they have the oportunity to live togheter and they can meet their friends; the classes are divided in small groups with they call gangs; the life school is very diferent between the elementary school and the high school. The begin, at least the first, second, third and fourth grade are very diferent fron the last years; the olders students have the necessit of beeing listen; they want that the school alowed then to participate; they question more about the learning process; they give more importance to the university exame; they have more involvement with the director, orientate teacher, regular teacher and colleagues. They have a lot of expectation with relation to the teachers and to be just a teacher isn’t enough. The teacher has to be a big hero.
