A contribuição de um projeto escolar para a educação intercultural: o "Intercâmbio Internacional Estudantil Delta do Jacuí/Brasil e Mostazal/Chile"

Abstract

This work is a case study of qualitative stamp on a school project called “Intercâmbio Internacional Estudantil Delta do Jacuí / Brasil e Mostazal/Chile”. This is an investigation on the origin and deployment of this project of cultural exchange between the Brazil-Chile schools cenecistas the coal region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul and Mostazal of public schools in Chile. It was also that the study contributes to an exchange Intercultural Education, since the exchanges change during or after the experience of cultural exchange, adopting values and / or attitudes that encourage personal growth, accepting and living with cultural diversity as well as respecting and admiring the "other" in solidarity and friendly. The results of observations and data collection problems have nine points and suggestions for the improvement of the project in their practice.

Este trabalho é um estudo de caso de cunho qualitativo sobre um projeto escolar denominado “Intercâmbio Internacional Estudantil Delta do Jacuí / Brasil e Mostazal/Chile”. Trata-se de uma investigação sobre a origem e implantação desse projeto de intercâmbio cultural Brasil-Chile entre as escolas cenecistas da Região Carbonífera do estado do Rio Grande do Sul e as escolas públicas de Mostazal, no Chile. Verificou-se, também, que o intercâmbio estudado contribui para uma Educação Intercultural, uma vez que os intercambistas mudam durante ou depois da experiência do intercâmbio cultural, adotando valores e/ou atitudes que favoreçam o crescimento pessoal, aceitando e convivendo com a diversidade cultural, bem como respeitando e admirando o “outro” de forma solidária e amistosa. Os resultados das observações e da coleta de dados permitiram apontar nove problemas e sugestões para o aprimoramento do projeto em sua prática.
