| Abstract: | Esta pesquisa se propõe a analisar a cultura escolar do Colégio Militar de Porto Alegre durante o período de 1962 a 1990 a partir da memória de ex-alunos. Este estudo traz aspectos da cultura e organização escolar do colégio enquanto instituição de ensino masculina, o cotidiano pela ótica discente e infere o perfil de sujeito que a escola desejava formar procurando não cair na armadilha de considerar a existência de um único modelo de masculinidade. Também, lança luz aos sujeitos discentes e suas formas de compreender, conviver e significar o ambiente escolar. Neste espaço de tempo, esta escola alterou a sua característica de educandário masculino através da entrada, gradativa, de mulheres em seus quadros de funcionários e do ingresso das meninas na qualidade de alunas, em 1989, dando início ao Colégio Militar enquanto escola mista. Apresenta o feminino e seus sentidos circulantes no Colégio através de uma ótica que compreende a formação de homens e mulheres, bem como as suas representações, como resultantes das relações estabelecidas entre sujeitos masculinos e femininos. Infere que a presença feminina na organização escolar acontece através do trabalho e procura identificar essa presença, os reflexos e tensões no processo histórico e no cotidiano desta escola de ensino básico. O aceitar a mulher como trabalhadora e como aluna não transformou o caráter masculino da cultura do Colégio Militar de Porto Alegre. A vivência desta instituição de ensino como escola mista, assim como o crescimento do número de integrantes femininas, trabalhadoras civis e militares e alunas, é provocação para novas reflexões. A dissertação é concluída com o ingresso de alunas neste colégio masculino apontando a possibilidade de continuidade da investigação.
The goal of this research is to analyze the school culture of Colégio Militar de Porto Alegre during the period between 1962 and 1990 departing from ex-students memory. This study brings aspects of the culture and of school organization of the college while men education institution, the day by day from the learning optics, and infers the desired citizen profile that the school aimed in order to avoid the conception of only one model of manhood. Also, it highlights the learning citizens and their forms to understand, to coexist and to mean the school environment. During this space of time, this school modified its characteristic of masculine educational establishment through the women gradual entrance, gradual its employee’s staff and the ingression of the girls as students in 1989, starting the Military College while mixing school. It presents feminine and its circulating directions in the College through an optics that understands men and women formation, as well as its representations, as resultant of the relations established between male and female citizens. It infers that the feminine presence in the school organization happens through work and tries to identify this presence, the consequences and tensions in the historical process and the routine of this basic education school. Accepting woman as diligent and as student did not transform the masculine culture character of the Colégio Militar de Porto Alegre. The experience of this institution of education as mixing school, as well as the integrant growth of women diligent, civilians and military and students, is a provocation for new reflections. The thesis is concluded with the ingression of female as students in this masculine college pointing the possibility of continuity of the investigation. |
