| Abstract: | O estudo trata da concepção de envelhecimento que permeia o material instrucional construído por um idoso, que participa de oficinas de inclusão digital oferecidas pela Universidade. Este material instrucional teve como tema o envelhecimento e será utilizado como base para a elaboração de um software educacional. A metodologia utilizada foi de natureza qualitativa interpretativa e de intervenção, utilizando-se a estratégia Estudo de Caso (Yin, 2001). Os dados foram coletados por observação participante, análise interpretativa e semi-ótica do material instrucional e por validação comunicativa. Na concepção de envelhecimento do idoso autor, foram identificadas as dimensões: temporal, biológica, psicossocial, cultural e educacional. Implícita no trabalho também se fez presente a dimensão tecnológica. A partir de uma visão de globalidade, verificou-se que esta concepção atende a indicativos de uma perspectiva de complexidade pela consciência: da ambivalência do fenômeno (limitação e possibilidades), aspectos positivos e negativos; da existência e múltiplas dimensões, que interagem entre si, de desconhecimento e de incerteza em relação ao fenômeno envelhecimento; da presença do imaginário na concepção humana, da necessidade de qualidade de vida e de relação com o ambiente para um envelhecimento com sucesso.
The present study deals with the conception of aging that permeates the instruction material constructed by an aged person who participates in a program of digital inclusion workshops offered by the University. This instructional material had the process of aging as its theme and it will be used as a base for the elaboration of an educational software. The researched was performed in a qualitative, interpretative and interventionist methodology, using case study (Yin, 2001) as the research strategy. The dada were collected in participant observation, the instruction material was analyzed in an interpretative and semiotic approach, and validated by means of communicative interaction. In the aged author’s conception of aging, it was possible to identify the following dimensions: temporal, biological, psychosocial, cultural and educational. It was also possible to recognize, although implicitly, a technological dimension. From a global vision, it was possible to verify that this conception indicates a complexity perspective, once it shows consciousness of: the ambivalence of the phenomenon (with its limitations and possibilities), positive and negative aspects, the existence of multiple dimensions that interact one to another, lack of knowledge and uncertainty towards the aging process, the presence of the imaginary in the human conception, the need for quality of life and relation with the environment for a successful process of aging. |
