| Abstract: | A tese analisa a poesia escrita pelas mulheres do Rio Grande do Sul, do século XIX até a contemporaneidade, tomando-se como referência os registros e as omissões da historiografia literária sulina acerca dessa questão, a fim de resgatar a trajetória silenciada da produção lírica. A abordagem privilegia, no fato literário, também a sua dimensão social, propondo a investigação das condições de criação, das formas de publicação, das maneiras de circulação e do modo como a crítica especializada e os leitores receberam a poesia lírica das escritoras do Estado. Para alcançar esse propósito, elege-se, como orientação teórica, a estética da recepção tal como se encontra formulada por Hans Robert Jauss. Intenta-se, com essa abordagem, conhecer a tradição meio amarfanhada da trajetória literária das mulheres sul-riograndenses no que tange à publicação e à recepção da poesia, buscando-se as razões pelas quais essa modalidade de literatura, quando escrita por sujeitos pertencentes ao sexo feminino, surge como uma espécie de sussurro à sombra das demais produções eleitas pela tradição.
This thesis analyzes the poetry written by women from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, from the 19th century to contemporary times, based on what has been registered and on what has been omitted by the literary historiography of the state of Rio Grande do Sul concerning these literary productions, and aiming at winning back these silenced journeys of lyrical productions. This approach also emphasizes the literary fact in its social dimensions, and proposes an inquiry on the conditions of creation, on the forms and means of publication and circulation, as well as on the manner readers and specialized critics received, responded to, and/or perceived the lyrical works of these local women writers. The aesthetic of reception, as presented by Hans Robert Hauss, constitutes the theoretical framework of this research. Its purpose is to construct knowledge on the half-forgotten literary journeys of these women writers in relation to production, publication and reception of their literary works, while, at the same time, trying to explain why these female voices appeared just like muffled whispers that had been shaded by literary male productions elected by literary tradition. |
