| Resumo: | O presente trabalho trata do sentido que resulta das relações dentro do discurso a partir da perspectiva da Teoria da Argumentação na Língua (ANL) desenvolvida por Oswald Ducrot e colaboradores. Esse estudo foi motivado pelo interesse em reexaminar a classificação dos mecanismos coesivos proposta por Hasan (1989), pois constatamos que a autora parece apreender os sentidos isolados e independentes uns dos outros no eixo paradigmático, apesar de estudar a linguagem em uso. Fundamentados na ANL, preconizamos que o sentido está na língua, e que, portanto, se constrói a partir do discurso. Desta maneira, pretendemos mostrar, por meio da terceira e atual fase da ANL, a Teoria dos Blocos Semânticos, a impossibilidade de se estudar as relações semânticas no discurso sem levar em consideração o sentido produzido pelo uso da linguagem, ou melhor, pela noção de relação entre as palavras, enunciados e pela enunciação.
This study discusses meaning that is rendered from interdiscourse relationships that are analyzed from the standpoint of the Theory of Argumentation Within Language (AWL) as advanced by Oswald Ducrot et alli. It was motivated by an interest in reexamining the classification of cohesive mechanisms set forth by Hasan (1989), as it was observed that she seems to investigate meanings in isolation, independently from one another in the paradigmatic axis, even though she studies language in actual use. From an AWL perspective, it is possible to state that meaning is found within language and is therefore linked with discourse. This way, it is intended to show by means of the third and most current stage of AWL, the Theory of Semantic Blocks, that it is impossible to study semantic relationships in discourse if the meaning that results from the use of language by the relationship between words, statements and enunciation is not taken into account. |
