| Abstract: | Este estudo teve por objetivo verificar se a utilização de um treinamento em leitura oral facilita a compreensão de textos. Para tanto, foram revisados aspectos teóricos relacionados à leitura, à compreensão leitora, ao processamento de leitura e, por fim, à leitura oral e sentido. A seguir, procedeu-se à pesquisa junto a 52 alunos da 3ª série do Ensino Fundamental da escola Marista Nossa Senhora do Rosário, colégio da rede particular de Porto Alegre, distribuídos em um grupo de controle e um experimental. O treinamento foi baseado em aspectos da leitura oral expressiva, tais como: dicção, entonação, fluência, ritmo e rapidez. A análise estatística dos resultados permitiu confirmar as hipóteses através do cálculo do teste t de Student. Concluiu-se, portanto, que a compreensão leitora é facilitada pela aplicação de determinadas atividades de leitura oral.
The aim of this study was to verify whether the use of oral reading activities can facilitate the comprehension of texts. In order to achieve this objective, theoretical aspects related to reading and reading comprehension were reviewed as well as those that deal with reading processing and oral reading and meaning. In the sequence, research was made with 52 students of the third grade of the Elementary School from a private school of Porto Alegre. The reading activities have been based on the expressive oral reading such as diction, intonation, fluency, rhythm and speed. The statistical analysis of the data allowed us to confirm the hypotheses based on the results of the t - Student test. This study concluded that the use of oral reading activities can enhance texts comprehension. |
