| Resumo: | The present thesis consists of studies in the Anthrozoology field approaching the Human-Dog Interaction. It claims that there is a private society constituted by humans and dogs and that the theory about the social proposed by Humberto Maturana may support both the identification and knowledge about this interspecies autopoietic system. The thesis has been divided finto sections. The first one is a theoretical essay, followed by two empirical sections. The theoretical essay proposes the social enlargement of Maturana's theory as an explicative hypothesis of the human-dog social system. It also introduces some central concepts about living social systems that have been adopted by the Biology of Cognition, articulating them with the properties identified in the relationship between humans and dogs as they constitute a new reality domain: fundamentally, the legitimation of the other in the relationship and the attachment from the history of consensual coordinations that are recurrent between humans and dogs, thus producing a new domain. The afim of the first empirical section is to present an observational instrument, which has been denominated "Child-Animal Interaction Code - Dog" (CACI), to observe the properties of the interaction between children and dogs, in an attempt to identify the structural dynamics of such interaction. The objects of study were images of child¬dog dyads obtained by the research team, totalizing 21,067 seconds of film in honre settings. The stages of the process of construction of this instrument have been described, as well as the operational definitions and its final structure. Finally, the second empirical section reports the transcultural analyses of validity in Brazil and Spain and the reliability of the instrument as a scientificity criterion, especially as a flow of senses accepted by different observers. The thesis offers another understanding of the human-dog relationship, advocating the ides that both of them constitute the social, and proposing a methodological advance.
A presente tese consiste de estudos na área da Psicologia, abordando o sistema social na lnteração Humano-Cão. Defende-se que ha uma sociedade particular constituída por humanos e cães e que a teoria sobre o social de Humberto Maturana nos oferece apoio para identificar e conhecer esse sistema autopoiético constituído interespécie. O trabalho é apresentado na forma do seções, sendo que a primeira é um ensaio teórico seguido de duas seções empíricas. O ensaio teórico propõe uma ampliação do social na teoria de Humberto Maturana como hipótese explicativa para o sistema social humano-cão. Apresenta alguns conceitos centrais sobre os sistemas sociais vivos adotados na Biologia do Conhecer e articula-os às propriedades identificadas na relação entre humanos e cães ao constituírem um novo domínio da realidade: fundamentalmente, a legitimação do outro na relação e o acoplamento a partir da história de coordenações consensuais recorrentes entre o humano e o cão, produzindo um novo domínio. 0 objetivo da primeira seção empírica é apresentar um instrumento observacional de propriedades cia. interação entre crianças e cães, denominado “Código de Interação Criança-Cão” (CACI). Por meio desse instrumento, buscamos identificar a dinâmica estrutural dessa interação. O objeto do estudo foram imagens de vídeos de díades crianças-cães filmadas pela equipe de pesquisa, totalizando 21. 067 segundos do filme em ambiente doméstico. São descritas as etapas do processo da construção desse instrumento, as definições operacionais e a sua estrutura final. Por fim, a segunda seção empírica relata as análises transculturais da validade no Brasil e na Espanha e a análise de dignidade do instrumento como um critério de cientificidade, especialmente como fluxo dos sentidos aceitos entre diferentes observadores. A tese oferece uma outra compreensão da relação humano-cão, defende a idéia de que o social é constituído por ambos e propõe um avanço metodológico. |
