| Abstract: | The thesis focuses on the female condition, which is majority of the socio-historic composition of Social Work, and aims to analyse the discourse of this profession and examine its interlocution with the feminism discourse. It aims attempts to reveal the common points between these two discourses throughout different moments in the history of Social work in Brazil. Such points serve to unveil the past limitations of the development of this profession, as well as the potentials of development for the future that can help the profession to fulfil its ethic-politics project. From a selection of known texts by social work authors, discursive statements and facts that produced changes in the discursive process of the profession were selected. Similarly, discursive statements that identify changes caused by the feminism movement in women’s lives since the introduction of capitalism in the Brazilian society were selected. The analysis of profession and feminism discourses has allowed the understanding of the changes in the meaning attributed to women and Social Work by the discursive formation of capital. It has also contributed to the understanding of the subject position of women and social workers revealing the periods of subjugation/alliances and detachment/ruptures with the discursive formation of capital. The Discourse Analysis revealed the interrelation between feminism and profession as an important factor in the rupture made by the profession with the discursive formation of capital and the alliance/identification with the discursive formation of work. The ethic-politic project of Social Work can be seen as the discourse that materializes the identification of these alliances, and its practice constitutes one of the great challenges of the professional work in the neoliberal Globalization context. The thesis presents the potentials of the female condition, which is majority in the social workers category, as a relevant factor to face these challenges.
A tese trata da condição feminina, majoritária na composição sócio-histórica do Serviço Social e tem a finalidade de, através da Análise de Discurso, examinar a discursividade da profissão na busca da sua interlocução com a discursividade do feminismo. Para tal, tem como objetivo desvelar, nos diferentes momentos da história do Serviço Social no Brasil, pontos de identificação entre estas discursividades que possam sinalizar os limites encontrados pela profissão na sua trajetória e, principalmente no contexto atual, as possibilidades intrínsecas da profissão a serem potencializadas pelos assistentes sociais na concretização do projeto ético-político profissional. De um conjunto de textos de autores do Serviço Social foram selecionados enunciados discursivos e fatos que produzem mudanças no processo discursivo da profissão e de textos de autores feministas, enunciados que identificam as mudanças obtidas pelo feminismo em relação à vida das mulheres desde a implantação do capitalismo na sociedade brasileira. A análise dos discursos da profissão e dos discursos produzidos pelo feminismo possibilitou a compreensão das modificações no sentido atribuído pela formação discursiva do capital às mulheres e ao Serviço Social e as mudanças na posição sujeito das mulheres e dos assistentes sociais, de forma a que se desvelassem os períodos de assujeitamento/alianças e os de afastamento/rupturas com esta formação discursiva.A inter-relação da profissão com o feminismo, segundo a Análise do Discurso, mostrou-se um fator importante da ruptura procedida pela profissão com a formação discursiva do capital e da aliança/identificação com a formação discursiva do trabalho. O projeto ético-político do Serviço Social é a discursividade que materializa esta identificação e estas alianças, e sua operacionalização constitui um dos grandes desafios do trabalho profissional no atual contexto da Globalização neoliberal. A tese apresenta a potencialidade da condição feminina, predominante na categoria dos assistentes sociais, como um fator relevante para o enfrentamento destes desafios. |
