| Resumen: | A finalidade deste estudo é compreender o percurso filosófico de santo Agostinho, ao longo de sua obra Confissões, a partir de suas interrogações sobre si mesmo, sobre o homem, sobre Deus. Com ênfase na novidade do estilo que é adotado em sua narrativa – a autobiografia – a intenção é compreender o que nesse pensador pode ser chamado de manifesto do mundo interior. Ao longo da obra estão inscritas diversas questões de natureza filosófica e teológica que foram fundamentais não só para o desenvolvimento da Filosofia na Idade Média mas para toda a história das ideias do mundo ocidental. O fio condutor de seu pensamento abre um leque de questões e problematizações que podem sustentar projetos existenciais balizadores do sentido de ser e saber-se humano. Para isso buscou-se identificar e relacionar dois âmbitos do conhecimento, a saber, a razão e a fé, que são as vigas de sustentação do pensamento de Agostinho. Denominamos esse movimento de ideias, escritas em primeira pessoa e inscritas em sua singularidade, de Cor inquietum, em razão de seu modo absolutamente original de tratar os temas da Filosofia, muitas vezes confrontando-os com os temas da fé cristã. Nesse sentido, procurou-se também demonstrar que no pensamento filosófico de Agostinho encontram-se certas categorias antropológicas que definem o homem como ser em permanente diálogo consigo mesmo e com Deus, realizando sua vocação de homo viator.
The purpose os this study is to understand the philosphical route of St. Augustine, through his work Confessions, from their questions about himself about man, about God. With an emphasis on the novelty of the style adopted in his narrative – the autobiography – the intention is to understand what, this thinker, may be called the manifesto of the inner word. Throughout the book are listed several questions of philosophical and theological nature that were crucial not only for the development of philosophy in the middle ages but for the entire history of the ideas of the Occidental world. The main point of his thought opens up a range of questions and concerns that can suport existencial projects demarcating of the sense of being and knowing human. For that sought to identify and relate two fields of knowledge, that is the reason and the faith, which are the beams that support the thought of Augustine. We call this movement of ideas, written in first person and included in their uniqueness, the Cor inquietum, because of its absolutely original method of treating the subjects of philosophy, often confronting them with the themes of Christian faith. In this sense also sought to demonstrate that the philosophy of Augustineare some anthropological categories that define man as a being in constant dialogue with her self and with God, realizing his vocation of homo viator . |
