| Resumen: | Esta pesquisa visou analisar burnout em psicólogos. Participaram da pesquisa 915 sujeitos, escolhidos por conveniência, prospectados no esquema bola de neve em adesão por internet, através de um site contendo os instrumentos IBP (Inventário de Burnout em psicólogos) e um formulário de dados sociodemográficos. As características predominantes na amostra foram de indivíduos do sexo feminino, na faixa etária de 23 a 36 anos, casados e sem filhos, e entre os que tinham, com um ou dois filhos em média, formados entre 3 e dezesseis anos. A atividade profissional dominante foi a clínica, exclusivamente, seguida da clínica e docência, e a carga horária semanal de 39 horas ou mais de trabalho. A maioria dos sujeitos não estudava cursos de pós-graduação no momento que responderam os inventários, não desempenhavam atividades consideradas estressantes, tampouco faziam terapia. Definiu-se a partir dos dados revelados: no que tange às variáveis sociodemográficas e ao inventário IBP (Inventário Burnout em Psicólogos), um perfil formado por profissionais mais jovens, solteiros, sem filhos e com menor tempo de formado, independente do sexo para alto burnout (alta Exaustão Emocional e Despersonalização, e baixa Realização Profissional). Em função da associação entre variáveis relativas ao trabalho e as dimensões do Inventário de Burnout em Psicólogos, os sujeitos que apresentam alto burnout foram os que exerciam outras atividades e cumpriam atividades estressantes no momento de responder aos questionários, adicionando-se os docentes que apresentaram escore alto na dimensão Despersonalização, exclusivamente. Já as variáveis: carga horária de trabalho semanal elevada; não ser aluno de pós-graduação; e não fazer terapia não favoreceram ao alto burnout.
This research aimed to analyze burnout on psychologists. Took part in the research 915 subjects, chosen by convenience, prospected in the “snowball” scheme in adhesion by internet, through a site containing the instruments IBP (Burnout Inventory on Psychologists) and a formulary of Sociodemographic Datas. The predominant features in the sample were female subjects, at the age of 23 to 36 years old, married and without children, and among those who had, between one and two children in average, who have been graduated for between three and sixteen years. The ruling professional activity was the clinic, exclusively, followed by clinic and teaching, and the workload of 39 hours a week or over. Most of the subjects were not taking post-graduation courses, were not working on stressing activities, neither was taking therapy at the moment the inventory has been applied to them. It has been defined from the revealed datas: taking into account the sociodemographic variables and the IBP Inventory, it has been defined a profile formed by younger and single professionals, without children and graduated not long ago, independently of sex, for high burnout (high emotional exhaustion and low professional fulfillment). Due to the association between variables related to work and the dimensions of the Burnout Inventory on Psychologists, the subjects who have shown high burnout were those who held other activities and carried out stressing activities at the moment of answering the questionnaries, adding the professors who have shown a high score in the dimension unpersonalization, exclusively. Otherwise, the variables high weekly workload, not being a post-graduation student and not taking therapy, were not favorable to high burnout. |
