| Abstract: | O compartilhamento do conhecimento tem sido um fator importante nas plataformas de economia compartilhada em virtude da influência causada na tomada de decisão de outros indivíduos a partir do conhecimento compartilhado. Entretanto, evidências recentes sugerem que alguns usuários não compartilham conhecimento. Diante disso, este estudo tem como objetivo analisar porque os usuários compartilham conhecimento em plataformas de economia compartilhada na área do turismo, especificamente Airbnb e Couchsurfing. Visando atender esse objetivo, este estudo de natureza qualitativa iniciou com a revisão de literatura, que definiu sete categorias para o compartilhamento do conhecimento. Após, foi realizada uma netnografia visando compreender o contexto e entrevistas individuais com 13 usuários das plataformas. Os resultados apontam duas novas categorias para o compartilhamento do conhecimento em plataformas de economia compartilhada: a) contribuição e b) retorno ou feedback, além de novos pontos de vista sobre as categorias obrigação, benefício, confiança e recompensa. Este estudo auxiliou a compreensão acerca do pensamento dos usuários ao compartilhar conhecimento nas plataformas de economia compartilhada, especificamente na área do turismo. Como limitações do estudo apontam-se questões relacionadas à faixa etária, classe social e localidade de realização da pesquisa. Em relação às pesquisas futuras, sugerem-se estudos visando comparar as categorias do compartilhamento do conhecimento em países emergentes e países ricos, e também em diferentes áreas e plataformas da economia compartilhada. Especificamente para a plataforma Couchsurfing, sugere-se um estudo visando identificar se a verificação do perfil do usuário através do pagamento de uma taxa tem influência sobre a confiança do usuário ao utilizar a plataforma.
Sharing knowledge has been an important factor in sharing economy platforms because of the influence they have on the decision-making of other individuals from sharing knowledge. However, recent evidence suggests that some users do not sharing knowledge. Therefore, this study aims to analyze why users sharing knowledge on sharing economy platforms in the area of tourism, specifically Airbnb and Couchsurfing. Aiming to meet this objective, this qualitative study began with the literature review, which defined seven categories for knowledge sharing. Afterwards, a netnography was performed to understand the context and individual interviews with 13 users of the platforms. The results point to two new categories for sharing knowledge on sharing economy platforms: a) contribution and b) feedback or feedback, as well as new views on categories of obligation, benefit, trust, and reward. This study helped to understand users' thinking by sharing knowledge on sharing economy platforms, specifically in the area of tourism. As limitations of the study, questions are related to the age range, social class and location of the research. In relation to future research, studies are suggested to compare the categories of knowledge sharing in emerging and rich countries, as well as in different areas and platforms of the sharing economy. Specifically for the Couchsurfing platform, a study should be carried out to identify if the verification of the user profile through the payment of a fee has an influence on the user's confidence in using the platform. |
