Construções de gênero na juventude: uma análise das percepções de estudantes do EJA a partir de publicações do facebook

Abstract

Cada vez mais a inserção da internet e o impacto das mídias sociais se mostram presentes no dia-a-dia das pessoas. É neste espaço onde a cultura e a expressão social se constroem, bem como as questões de gênero, também expostas e continuamente construídas neste espaço virtual. Os espaços escolares também são fundamentais para discussões acerca das compreensões de gênero, sexualidade e diversidade sexual. São contextos que propiciam a problematização das relações sociais construídas e aceitas socialmente e culturalmente. As juventudes atuais vivenciam mudanças que podem transformar ou não alguns lugares e papéis ocupados no decorrer de suas vidas. O estudo “Construções de Gênero na Juventude: uma análise das percepções de estudantes do EJA a partir de publicações do Facebook” teve como objetivo investigar as construções de gênero na juventude a partir das percepções de alunas(os) da modalidade de ensino “Educação de Jovens e Adultos”, através de percepções apresentadas a partir das falas de jovens de uma escola municipal na região metropolitana do Rio Grande do Sul. A pesquisa define-se por ser qualitativa e exploratória, com a participação de 37 jovens com idade entre 15 a 29 anos, sendo 14 mulheres e 23 homens. A pesquisa foi composta por três grupos focais mistos, de mulheres e homens, um grupo focal feminino, apenas de mulheres e um grupo focal masculino, apenas de homens, totalizando cinco grupos focais. Serviu como base, doze publicações da rede social Facebook que tivessem a temática “Gênero” para tensionar a discussão nos grupos, analisados a partir do método da análise temática, resultando num artigo que teve como objetivo analisar as diferentes percepções de gênero construídas e vivenciadas por jovens no cotidiano de suas vidas. Os resultados demonstraram o quanto o uso do Facebook está presente na rotina das(os) jovens, bem como revelam o modo com que as construções de gênero são realizadas e percebidas de forma desigual pelas(os) jovens na sociedade atual. O artigo compõe o cenário apresentando apontamentos para a educação. As juventudes são um grupo complexo e bastante conectado com as mudanças sociais, inclusive pensando o contexto das mídias sociais e dos saberes produzidos pela educação. Assim, outros estudos devem ser realizados objetivando ampliar esse recorte e contribuindo para o avanço dos estudos nessa área.

Increasingly, the insertion of the internet and the impact of social media are present in people's daily lives. It is in this space where culture and social expression are built, as well as the gender issues, also exposed and continually constructed in this virtual space. School spaces are also central to discussions about understandings of gender, sexuality, and sexual diversity. They are contexts that propitiate the problematization of social relations built and accepted socially and culturally. Today's youth experience changes that may or may not turn some occupied places and roles in the course of their lives. The study "Gender Constructions in Youth: an analysis of students' perceptions of the EJA from Facebook publications" aimed to investigate the constructions of gender in youth from the perceptions of students of the modality of education "Education of Youth and Adults ", through perceptions presented from the speeches of young people of a municipal school in the metropolitan region of Rio Grande do Sul. The research is defined as being qualitative and exploratory, with the participation of 37 young people aged 15 to 29, with 14 women and 23 men. The research consisted of three mixed focus groups, women and men, a female focus group, women only, and a male focal group, only men, totaling five focal groups. Twelve publications of the social network Facebook that had the theme "Gender" to stress the discussion in the groups, analyzed using the thematic analysis method, resulted in an article that had as objective to analyze the different perceptions of gender constructed and lived by young people in the daily life of their lives. The results demonstrated how much the use of Facebook is present in the routine of young people, as well as reveal the way in which the constructions of gender are realized and unequally perceived by the young people in the current society. The article composes the scenario presenting notes for education. The youths are a complex group and very connected with the social changes, including thinking about the context of social media and the knowledge produced by education. Thus, other studies should be carried out aiming at amplifying this cut and contributing to the advancement of studies in this area.
