Televisão digital brasileira: um estudo sobre processos comunicativos e avanços tecnológicos

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objeto de pesquisa a televisão brasileira, analisando as possibilidades que a tecnologia digital agrega ao meio, buscando investigar se essas possibilidades imprimem novas formas de relacionamento entre a TV e os públicos. Para tanto, fizemos uma análise da invenção da tecnologia, das primeiras experiências, dos três principais padrões de TV digital – o norte americano, o europeu e o japonês –, bem como tratamos da importância da televisão como fonte de informação e entretenimento. Comentamos a relação estabelecida entre a sociedade, a tecnologia e os meios de comunicação, observando a forma de influência mútua entre os três âmbitos. Abordamos, ainda, o impacto da tecnologia digital sobre a sociedade e os meios de comunicação, sendo a televisão o foco desta pesquisa. Por fim, analisamos as mudanças em nível de resolução de som e imagem, multicanal e multiprogramação, nova relação de aspecto e enquadramentos, interatividade, mobilidade e portabilidade na TV digital brasileira.

This work aims to study the Brazilian television, analyzing the possibilities that digital technology brings to the middle order to investigate whether these possibilities print new forms of relationships between the TV and the public. Therefore, we will make an analysis of the invention of technology, the first experiments, the three main digital TV standards, the North American, European and Japanese, as well as treat the importance of the television as a source of information and entertainment. We will comment on the relationship between society, technology and the media, observing the form of mutual influence between the three areas. We will additionally, the impact of digital technology on society and the media, with television being the focus of this research. Finally, we analyze the changes in level of resolution and sound, multichannel and multiprogramming, new supports and frameworks, interactivity, mobility and portability in the Brazilian digital TV.
