A contribuição da teoria dos jogos para a compreensão da teoria de relações públicas: uma análise da cooperação

Abstract

O objeto de estudo deste trabalho é a cooperação, enfocada sob o olhar da Teoria dos Jogos e da teoria de Relações Públicas. O problema de pesquisa resume-se em: como a Teoria dos Jogos contribui para a compreensão da teoria de Relações Públicas, tendo como elemento de ligação a cooperação e, mais especificamente, a Teoria da Cooperação. Sob essa perspectiva, o objetivo geral é verificar se os princípios da Teoria dos Jogos, mais especificamente os da cooperação e da Teoria da Cooperação, podem propiciar contribuição teórica a Relações Públicas. Os objetivos específicos são, primeiramente, compreender a Teoria dos Jogos, com enfoque na Teoria da Cooperação; em segundo, analisar o processo e a teoria de relações Públicas, especificamente no que se refere ao seu objetivo de obter a cooperação no sistema organização-público; e, em terceiro, relacionar a Teoria dos Jogos com a teoria de Relações Públicas, sob o olhar da cooperação. A metodologia utilizada é a abordagem qualitativa a partir das técnicas de coleta de dados, de dinâmica de grupo e de observação não-participante. A técnica de análise de dados utilizada é a Análise Textual Discursiva, de Moraes (2007). O estudo detalhado das duas teorias assegurou a identificação das contribuições que a Teoria dos Jogos pôde trazer à teoria de Relações Públicas e ao estabelecimento das correlações existentes, identificando pontos de convergência entre elas por intermédio da cooperação.

The object of this paper is the cooperation from the point of view of the Game Theory and the theory of Public Relations. The research problem consits in how the Game Theory contributes for the comprehension of the theory of Public Relations having the cooperation, and more specifically, the Cooperation Theory as the linking element. Under this perspective, the general aim is to verify if the principles of the Game Theory, more specifically, of the cooperation and the Cooperation Theory, can provide theoretical contribution to Public Relations. The specific objectives are: first, to understand the Game Theory having its focus on the Cooperation Theory; second, to analyse the process and the theory of Public Relations, specifically as far as its objective is concerned in obtain the cooperation within the public organization system; and, third, to connect the Game Theory to the theory of Public Relations from the point of view of the cooperation. The methodology adopted for the research is the qualitative boarding, using data collection techniques, group dynamics, and non-participant observation. The data anaylisis technique employed is “The Discursive Textual Analysis” by Moraes (2007). The detailed study of both theories assured the identification of the contributions that the Game Theory could bring to the theory of Public Relations and the establishment of the existing correlations identifying the convergence points between them through cooperation.
