| Resumo: | Por se tratar de uma proposta com possibilidade para flexibilização de horários, onde o estudante pode realizar a sua gestão do tempo com autonomia, a educação a distância torna-se a saída viável para democratização e acesso de estudantes, que até então, não teriam condições de se dirigir à instituições de ensino presenciais. As instituições de ensino estão buscando desenvolver estratégias para garantir o acesso e principalmente a permanência dos estudantes, entre elas compreender as motivações e fatores que contribuem para o sucesso discente. Diante disso, o tema desta pesquisa caracteriza-se por compreender os motivos que podem interferir na decisão de permanência dos estudantes. A problemática da pesquisa consiste em responder quais os principais fatores motivacionais para a permanência discente em cursos técnicos a distância, a partir do objetivo geral de compreender quais os fatores motivacionais que interferem na decisão discente de permanecer nos cursos técnicos a distância. Nesta dissertação foi realizada uma análise a partir de Bardin (2011).Os principais achados dessa pesquisa indicaram que os fatores que interferem na decisão de permanência dos estudantes perpassam as relações sociais, familiares e de trabalho; quanto às realizações pessoais, a pandemia mostrou-se como período ideal para iniciar a concretização de sonhos e aproveitar a flexibilidade para priorizar a qualificação profissional. Os cursos técnicos apresentam um valor de investimento menor que outras modalidades de ensino, por se tratar da educação a distância onde gastos com deslocamento e acesso aos espaços educativos não são necessários torna-se mais atrativo ainda aos estudantes interessados. O trabalho também é fator decisivo para a permanência, considerando que os cursos técnicos possibilitam novas oportunidades após a conclusão, ainda assim, trabalhar e estudar é um desafio para os estudantes.

Educational institutions are seeking to develop strategies to ensure access and especially the permanence of students, including understanding the motivations and factors that contribute to student success. Therefore, the theme of this research is characterized by understanding the reasons that can interfere in the decision to stay two students. The research problem consists of answering what are the main motivational factors for the student to remain in distance technical courses, starting from the general objective of understanding what are the motivational factors that interfere in the student's decision to remain in distance technical courses.For this dissertation, an analysis based on Bardin (2011) was carried out. The main themes of this research will indicate that the factors that interfere in the decision of two students to remain pervade their social, family and work relationships; With regard to personal achievements, the pandemic proved to be the ideal period to start making dreams come true and take advantage of the flexibility to prioritize professional qualification. Technical courses represent a lower investment value than other teaching modalities, as they are distance education where expenses with travel and access to educational spaces are not necessary, it becomes even more attractive to interested students. Employment is also a decisive factor for permanence, considering that technical courses offer new opportunities after completion, even so, working and studying is a challenge for students. |
