Jornalismo em tempo real: a cobertura do massacre de Suzano no Jornal Hoje

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a cobertura especial do massacre de Suzano feita pelo Jornal Hoje. Para isso, o método de análise de conteúdo de Laurence Bardin (2011) é utilizado. No segundo capítulo abordam-se temas referentes à história da televisão e do telejornalismo no Brasil, assim como a linguagem do telejornalismo, os desafios de produzir um programa telejornalístico ao vivo e o poder da imagem na televisão. O terceiro capítulo é destinado a explorar a ética em conjunto ao jornalismo e a segurança pública, além de expor as características da mídia em conjunto aos direitos humanos e o sensacionalismo. No quarto capítulo é feita a análise concreta da edição especial do telejornal. A história do Jornal Hoje é contada brevemente, bem como são mencionadas algumas coberturas especiais feitas pelo programa ao longo dos anos, a fim de estruturar uma linha cronológica de edições especiais do telejornal em questão. Por fim, realiza-se a análise de 4 categorias: entrevista, imagem, formato e linguagem, e a descrição dos seus conteúdos responde o problema de pesquisa desta monografia.

This paper aims to analyze the special coverage of the Suzano massacre made by Jornal Hoje. For this, Laurence Bardin (2011) content analysis method is used. The second chapter deals with themes related to the history of television and television news in Brazil, as well as the language of television news and the challenges of producing a live television news program. The third chapter is intended to explore ethics together with journalism and public safety, and expose the characteristics of the media together with human rights and sensationalism. In the fourth chapter the concrete analysis of the special edition of the newscast is made. The story of Jornal Hoje is briefly told, as well as some special coverage made by the program over the years, in order to structure a timeline of special editions of the newscast in question. Finally, four categories are analyzed: interview, image, format and language, and the description of its contents answers the research problem of this monograph.
