Afogar-se: as verdades dentro dos medos fantásticos

Abstract

Este trabalho analisa a relação íntima que existe entre realidade e fantasia, em especial dentro do gênero Terror. As definições trazidas sobre terror deixam claro que o gênero é definido pelos sentimentos que essas narrativas causam em quem as lê, o que exige muito tanto da pessoa escritora quanto da pessoa leitora. Numa história de fantasia sombra, é a partir da subjetividade do que é real que se cria identificação entre quem lê e os personagens da obra. A fim de conceituar “verdade” e fazer o contraponto com a realidade fantástica, o livro A paixão segundo G.H. foi analisado. Clarice Lispector é uma escritora que se dedicou a compreender a alma humana, por isso sua obra traz diversos elementos que estão no cânone do terror — ela causa desconforto ao trazer verdades internas desagradáveis. This paper analyzes the intimate relationship between reality and fantasy, especially in the genre of terror. The definitions brought about terror make it clear that this genre is defined by the feelings that these narratives invoke in those who read them, which demands a lot of both the person who writes them and the person who reads them. In a dark fantasy story, it's the subjectivity of what’s real that creates the identification between reader and book character. In order to conceptualize “truth” and bring the conterpoint with reality in fantasy, the book A paixão segundo G.H. was analyzed.
