A prática educativa do instrutor de treinamento na indústria

Abstract

This work aims to study the educational practice in the industry, from the action of the training instructors. The theoretical approach highlights the training in the industry, the relation between education and the industrial paradigm, as well as the role and characteristics of the training instructor. The difficulty to find references which directed the view to the person of the instructor, not only to the theoretical aspects related to them, promoted the search for the state of knowledge on this subject, which demonstrated that it isn´t studied in the scope of education. The data from this quanti-qualitative investigation were collected through a project of experiments and interviews with training instructors from a multinational company. The interview results, analyzed using Bardin´s content analysis technique, were organized into four categories: Me, instructor?! What now. - The exercise of teaching – Satisfaction with the activity – From theory to practice: reflecting from the experience. The final considerations point to the necessity of a pedagogical background for the instructors, since they contribute for the result of the industry where they work. It also indicates that there are similarities between the role of the instructor in the industry and the teacher at schools. In this context we highlight the construction of knowledge through experience as the foundation of the teaching practice in the industry training.

Esta dissertação tem por objetivo estudar a prática educativa na indústria, a partir da ação dos instrutores de treinamento. A abordagem teórica destaca o treinamento na indústria, a relação entre educação e o paradigma industrial, assim como o papel e características do instrutor de treinamento. A dificuldade de encontrar referências que dirigissem o olhar para a pessoa do instrutor, e não apenas aos aspectos técnicos a ele relacionados, promoveu a busca de um estado de conhecimento sobre o tema, o que demonstrou que o mesmo ainda não é muito estudado no âmbito da educação. Os dados dessa investigação quanti-qualitativa foram coletados através de um projeto de experimentos e entrevistas com instrutores de treinamento de uma indústria multinacional. Os resultados das entrevistas, analisados a partir da técnica de análise de conteúdo de Bardin foram organizados em quatro categorias: Eu instrutor?! E agora… - O exercício da “docência” - Satisfação com a atividade - Da teoria à prática: refletindo sobre o vivido. As considerações finais apontam para a necessidade de uma formação pedagógica dos instrutores, uma vez que esses contribuem para o resultado da indústria na qual trabalham. Também indica que existem semelhanças entre o papel do instrutor na indústria e do professor na escola. Nesse contexto, destaca-se a construção de saberes através da experiência como fundamento da prática docente no treinamento na indústria.
