| Abstract: | The present study it has as corpus the works Malagueta, Perus e Bacanaço (1963), Leão-de-chácara (1975) and Abraçado ao meu rancor (1986), by the writer João Antonio. The heading of the thesis “O malandro brasileiro: do fascínio ao rancor”, already delimits the trajectory of a personage who changes into due the effects of modernity. Therefore, it will be necessary to deal with concepts that examine the modernity, period that involves the chosen works, its implications in the configuration of the cities, as well as several diverse intercultural mixtures, that are part of the studies of the hybridism, a concept used to study of the malandro. Aspects pertinent to understand the route and figure of the malandro in literature.
O presente estudo tem como corpus as obras Malagueta, Perus e Bacanaço (1963), Leão-de-chácara (1975) e Abraçado ao meu rancor (1986), do escritor João Antônio. O título da tese "O malandro brasileiro: do fascínio ao rancor", já delimita a trajetória de um personagem que se transforma em função dos efeitos da modernidade. Por isso, será necessário tratar de conceitos que examinem a modernidade, período que envolve as obras escolhidas, suas implicações na configuração das cidades que abarca diversas misturas interculturais, que fazem parte dos estudos de hibridação ou hibridismo, conceito utilizado para estudar o malandro. Aspectos pertinentes para compreender a figura e o percurso do malandro na literatura. |
