This Master´s Degree dissertation studies the “Postmodern Fragmentation and the Concept of Person in the Light of Christian Duquoc’s Thinking’’. It is divided into three sections: in the first section, the category “fragmentation” has been selected, so as to, from there, analyze three aspects of postmodernity from the cultural vantage point. Those aspects are: complexity of the relations, liquefaction of the sacred and cultural hibridism. The second section presents the concept of “person”, an authentic “hybrid”, molded “from the confluence of three worldviews: Jewish, Greek and Christian. ”(p. 70). French theologian C. Duquoc’s work is a reference to enlighten the previous sections, as it considers the divine-human personality of Jesus of Nazareth and his consequential attitudes as to “the quotidian” and “transcendence”. |
