| Abstract: | O presente estudo pretendeu expressar, de forma ampla e consistente, uma análise do desenvolvimento da indústria no Rio Grande do Sul no período que vai de 1920 a 1980. Para isto, o alicerce básico do trabalho foi uma análise dos resultados obtidos nos Censos Industriais brasileiros de 1920, 1940, 1950, 1960, 1970 e 1980, balizada pela revisão de uma ampla bibliografia disponível sobre o assunto, tendo em vista a trajetória histórica da região. O estudo procurou identificar as principais atividades econômicas do Rio Grande do Sul, a expansão agrícola e comercial, a integração do mercado nacional ocorrida no período estudado, e os movimentos políticos, as ações econômicas do Estado, a administração pública e o desenvolvimento industrial elaborando um paralelo que destacou o movimento industrial gaúcho do início do século XX, até o final da década de 1970. O estudo identifica a estrutura, perfil e a composição setorial da indústria no Rio Grande do Sul e procura analisar suas relações com o mercado interno e os mercados externos, resgatando os principais conceitos existentes na literatura sobre o tema, e a analise dos dados obtidos no Censo Industrial do Brasil. A interpretação dos diversos aspectos analisados permitiu elaborar uma trajetória no desenvolvimento industrial gaúcho e a sua articulação com as demais regiões do país.
The pretension of the work is to express of ample and consistent form an analysis of the development of the industry in the Rio Grande Do Sul in the period that goes of 1920 the 1980. For this, the basic foundation of the work will be an analysis of the results gotten in the Brazilian Industrial Censuses of 1920, 1940, 1950, 1960, 1970 and 1980, marked out with buoys for the study of an ample available bibliography on the subject. In view of the historical trajectory of the region. For this, the study it looks for to identify the main economic activities of the Rio Grande Do Sul, the agricultural and commercial expansion, the integration of the occured national market in the period studied, as well as the movements politicians, the economic actions of the State, the public administration and the industrial development elaborating a parallel, that detaches the industrial movement gaucho of the beginning of century XX, until the end of the decade of 70. The study it identifies the structure, profile and the sectorial composition of the industry in the Rio Grande Do Sul and looks for to analyze its relations with the domestic market and the external markets, rescuing the main existing concepts in literature on the subject, as well as it analyzes of the data gotten in the Industrial Census of Brazil. The interpretation of the diverse analyzed aspects allows to elaborate a trajectory in the industrial development gaucho and its joint with the too much regions of the country. |
