O anúncio do reino de Deus à luz das conferências latino-americanas: desafios e propostas para a missão continental

Abstract

This Dissertation focuses on the study of the theme: The Announcement of the Kingdom of God in the Light of the Latin American Conferences: Challenges and Proposals for the Continental Mission. This research seeks to understand how the Latin America Church comprehends the Kingdom of God and how it is shown in the documents of the Conferences of Medellín, Puebla, Santo Domingo and Aparecida, which, in turn, potentiated the Latin American theological reflection. The research is divided into three chapters. The first develops the theme of the Kingdom of God, in which the classic works of Latin American theologians who deal with the topic are explored, seeking to extract from them ideas that contribute to look more closely at the Kingdom in the Old Testament and in Jesus‟s life and mission. The second chapter takes up the previous study in the light of the Conferences aiming to perceive how the Church in Latin America understands the Kingdom of God. The third chapter goes deeper into the theme of the mission and presents challenges so that the Continental Mission project, proposed at the Aparecida‟s V Conference, achieves its goal of "putting all the baptized in a permanent state of mission."

Esta Dissertação centra-se no estudo do tema: O anúncio do Reino de Deus à luz das Conferências Latino-americanas: Desafios e propostas para a Missão Continental. Nesta pesquisa procura-se entender como a Igreja Latino-americana compreende o Reino de Deus e como isto transparece nos documentos das Conferências de Medellín, Puebla, Santo Domingo e Aparecida que, por sua vez, potencializaram a reflexão teológica Latino-americana. A pesquisa está divida em três capítulos. No primeiro, desenvolve-se o tema do Reino de Deus, em que são exploradas obras clássicas de teólogos latino-americanos que versam sobre o tema, buscando extrair deles reflexões que contribuem para o aprofundamento sobre o Reino no Antigo Testamento e na vida e missão de Jesus. No segundo capítulo retoma-se o estudo anterior à luz das Conferências com o objetivo de perceber como a Igreja da América Latina compreende o Reino de Deus. No terceiro capítulo, aprofunda-se o tema da missão e apresentam-se desafios para que o projeto da Missão Continental, proposto na V Conferência em Aparecida, atinja seu objetivo de “colocar todos os batizados em estado permanente de missão. ”
