A paróquia na cidade atual à luz das conferências gerais do episcopado latino-americano (CELAM): desafios e perspectivas

Abstract

Pesquisa sobre “A Paróquia na Cidade Atual”. Aborda a Presença e a Missão da Igreja no contexto urbanizado, a partir dos estudos bibliográficos comparativos sobre a Paróquia na cidade. Busca compreender as raízes teológicas e pastorais da Paróquia na cidade, frente à crise na pós-modernidade com seus valores, cultura, ciência, sociedade, pessoa e religião, em vista a uma maior eficácia missionária e evangelizadora. Propõe, guiado à luz das Conferências Gerais do Episcopado Latino-Americano (CELAM), nos diversos textos e reflexões de teólogos, pastoralistas, sociólogos, bem como outros autores, fontes e ciências, um ver e dizer Deus na cidade atual, a partir do grande instrumento de evangelização que é a paróquia, procurando afirmar sua viabilidade e concretização frente à realidade urbana hodierna. A pesquisa por fim, acolhe os desafios e perspectivas teológicas e pastorais que daí decorrem, procurando uma maior compreensão e renovação da paróquia na cidade, como verdadeira comunidade citadina evangelizadora, missionária e culturalmente encarnada no tempo atual, promotora de atuantes discípulos missionários.

Research on “The Parish in Actual City”. It focuses the presence and the mission of the church in present urbanized context, starting from bibliographical comparative studies about the Parish in the city. It seeks to understand the theological and pastoral roots of the parish in the city, in front of the postmodern crisis with its values, culture, science, society, people and religion searching for larger missionary and evangelistic efficacy. Guided by the General Latin-American Episcopal Conferences (CELAM), in the different several texts and reflections of theologians, pastoralists, sociologists, as well as other authors, sources, and sciences, it purposes a view and a reflections about God in the actual city, starting from the great evangelization tool, the parish, searching to assert its feasibility and realization in the today urban reality. The research finally wants to welcome the challenges, and theologian and pastoral perspectives originated from there, looking for a better understanding and renewal of Parish in the city as a true citizen evangelistic community, missionary, and culturally embodied in present times, promoter active missionary disciples.
