O aggiornamento da teologia matrimonial na exortação amoris laetitia: um estudo para auxiliar casais cristãos a viverem a alegria do amor

Abstract

A presente tese de doutorado se propõe a estudar a teologia matrimonial a partir da Exortação Amoris Laetitia do Papa Francisco, para perceber suas diferenças em relação aos documentos pontifícios anteriores e o aggiornamento da teologia do matrimônio iniciado pelo Concílio Vaticano II. A pesquisa apresentará, primeiramente, o desenvolvimento da teologia do matrimônio cristão ao longo da história. Em seguida estudará a teologia de Amoris Laetitia, destacando a centralidade do amor no matrimônio, a valorização da corporeidade e da dimensão erótica e a alegria da vida conjugal. Por fim, indicará intuições e orientações práticas para a pastoral familiar auxiliar os casais cristãos a viverem a alegria do amor, também nas situações complexas. Espera-se que essa pesquisa ajude a Igreja a cumprir com fidelidade sua missão evangelizadora, tornando-se uma Igreja misericordiosa, atenta aos “sinais dos tempos” e “em saída” missionária.

This doctoral thesis proposes to study matrimonial theology from the Exhortation Amoris Laetitia of Pope Francis, to perceive its differences in relation to previous pontifical documents and the aggiornamento of the theology of marriage initiated by the Second Vatican Council. The research will, first, present the development of the theology of Christian marriage throughout history. He will then study the theology of Amoris Laetitia, highlighting the centrality of love in marriage, the appreciation of corporeality and the erotic dimension and the joy of married life. Finally, it will indicate intuitions and practical guidelines for family ministry to help Christian couples to live the joy of love, even in complex situations. It is hoped that this research will help the Church faithfully fulfill its evangelizing mission, becoming a merciful Church, attentive to the “signs of the times” and “outgoing” on missions.
