| Abstract: | A pesquisa de doutoramento aqui registrada teve por objetivo visibilizar as contribuições da linguística benvenistiana para a análise de textos do gênero artigo acadêmico. A partir das questões norteadoras “Quais conceitos da obra de Benveniste podem contribuir para a análise de textos acadêmicos? Em que medida determinadas noções apresentadas pelo autor são explanatória e metodologicamente aplicáveis à descrição e à avaliação de gêneros acadêmicos? É possível pensar em um instrumento de avaliação de textos que seja enunciativo?”, delimitou-se, como objetivo geral, a proposição, com base nos pressupostos da Teoria da Linguagem de Émile Benveniste (1976, 1989, 2014), de um dispositivo analítico com categorias e descritores que instrumentalizem a avaliação enunciativa de textos da esfera acadêmica, de modo focal artigos científicos produzidos por graduandos/graduados. Assim, esta pesquisa se insere em uma perspectiva teórica e aplicada, porque, da síntese do quadro teórico em tela, foi construído um instrumento analítico, o qual se constituiu em três eixos, que, por sua vez, se subdividiram nas seguintes categorias e subcategorias: (1) instâncias do discurso: (1.1) quadro figurativo e (1.2) espaço-tempo do texto; (2) conteúdo semantizado: (2.1) referenciação, (2.2) elaboração teórica e (2.3) unidade/progressão temática; (3) agenciamento das formas: (3.1) sintagmatização e (3.2) repertório/léxico. O instrumento proposto foi aplicado em um corpus de três artigos publicados na Revista Gatilho (UFJF) por estudantes de Letras. Considerando tanto os artigos citados quanto o próprio instrumento avaliativo como dados linguísticos a serem analisados, em nossos resultados e discussão, apresentamos a análise qualitativa dos textos, para, depois, discutir a própria funcionalidade, pertinência e organização das categorias elaboradas.Este estudo de doutorado, portanto, sustenta a tese de que, embora Émile Benveniste não tenha se dedicado diretamente ao estudo da escrita, seu posicionamento epistemológico e suas contribuições para a compreensão da linguagem e de como nela o homem se constitui como sujeito possibilitam a formulação de categorias analíticas para a avaliação de textos acadêmicos, contribuindo para a compreensão e o aperfeiçoamento da escrita de artigos científicos enquanto espaços-tempos escriturais nos quais os autores imprimem marcas de autoria.
The doctorate study registered here aimed to make apparent Benveniste’s linguistic contributions for the analysis and evaluation of texts in the academic paper genre. Based on the guiding questions “Which concepts from Benveniste’s work can contribute to the analysis of academic texts? To which extent certain notions presented by the author are explanatorily and methodologically applicable to the description and evaluation of academic genres? Is it possible to conceptualize an evaluation tool that is enunciative?”, we established, as the general objective, the proposition, based on the pillars of the Language Theory by Émile Benveniste (1976, 1989, 2014), of an analytical tool with categories and descriptors that enable the enunciative evaluation of academic texts, especially scientific papers written by undergraduate students/graduates. Thus, this study follows an applied and theoretical perspective, since, based on the synthesis of the theoretical framework aforementioned, we built an analytical tool, which comprises three spheres that, in turn, are subdivided into the following categories and sub-categories: (1) discourse instances: (1.1) figurative table and (1.2) space-time of the text; (2) semanticized content: (2.1) referencing, (2.2) theoretical formulation and (2.3) thematic unit/progression; (3) agency of forms: (3.1) syntagmatization and (3.2) repertoire/lexicon. The proposed tool was applied to a corpus of three papers published at the Gatilho Journal (UFJF) by Language undergraduate students. Considering both the papers mentioned and the evaluative tool itself as linguistic data for analysis, in our results and discussion we present the qualitative analysis of the texts so that, afterward, we are able to discuss the functionality, pertinence and organization of the established categories.This Doctorate study, thus, supports the thesis that, even though Émile Benveniste did not directly dedicate his work to the study of writing, his epistemological stance and contributions concerning language comprehension and how in it the man constitutes himself as subject enable the formulation of analytical categories for the evaluation of academic texts, contributing to the comprehension and the improvement of the writing of scientific papers as written space-times in which the authors imprint marks of authorship. |
