| Resumo: | Este estudo exploratório e qualitativo busca responder a seguinte questão: De que maneira podemos abordar a menstruação e despertar o sagrado feminino na sociedade contemporânea? Para tanto, os objetivos são: apresentar iniciativas de organizações que abordam a temática da menstruação em campanhas e ações; averiguar a percepção de especialistas sobre o tema e como vem sendo tratado em nossa sociedade; propor caminhos possíveis para retomar o sagrado feminino no que tange a menstruação; e refletir sobre a complexidade da temática e o papel da Comunicação nesse contexto. Deste modo, o trabalho utiliza três técnicas para coleta de dados: a pesquisa bibliográfica, a pesquisa documental e entrevistas em profundidade com mulheres especialistas sobre os assuntos centrais dessa pesquisa. Para análise dos dados coletados, optou-se pela análise de conteúdo categorial. Através da pesquisa bibliográfica, o estudo traz consigo visões de como as mulheres já possuíram uma relação mais profunda com seu sangue menstrual. Essa relação foi mudando ao longo do tempo, fazendo com que a menstruação seja vista como algo ruim e sujo, tornandose, assim, um tabu. Através da perspectiva Junguiana, busca-se o entendimento de arquétipos e, consequentemente, do sagrado feminino, tal como se deu o afastamento da mulher de si mesma, e como o patriarcado atrasou a liberdade das mulheres. Construindo possibilidades para o resgate e reconexão das mulheres com seus ciclos naturais, o estudo apresenta iniciativas que contemplam diversas áreas que buscam acabar com o tabu da menstruação, e propõe o debate sobre o tema. Em termos gerais, identifica-se que o processo de resgate dos ciclos femininos e o findar de um tabu são lentos e necessitam de uma construção cultural em longo prazo. Por isso, observa-se a importância da comunicação para expandir o tema, utilizando seu potencial para dialogar com diferentes áreas da sociedade.
This exploratory and qualitative study seeks to answer the following question: How can we approach menstruation and awaken the sacred feminine in contemporary society? To this end, the objectives are: to present initiatives from organizations that address the issue of menstruation in campaigns and actions; investigate the perception of experts on the topic and how it has been treated in our society; propose possible paths to reclaim the sacred feminine with regard to menstruation; and reflect on the complexity of the topic and the role of Communication in this context. Thus, the work uses three techniques for data collection: bibliographical research, documentary research and in-depth interviews with women experts on the central subjects of this research. To analyze the collected data, categorical content analysis was chosen. Through bibliographical research, the study brings with it views of how women already had a deeper relationship with their menstrual blood. This relationship changed over time, causing menstruation to be seen as something bad and dirty, thus becoming a taboo. Through the Jungian perspective, we seek to understand archetypes and, consequently, the sacred feminine, such as how women distanced themselves from themselves, and how patriarchy delayed women's freedom. Building possibilities for the rescue and reconnection of women with their natural cycles, the study presents initiatives that cover several areas that seek to end the taboo on menstruation, and proposes a debate on the topic. In sum, it is identified that the process of rescuing female cycles and ending a taboo is slow and requires long-term cultural construction. Therefore, the importance of communication is observed to expand the topic, using its potential to dialogue with different areas of society. |
