| Abstract: | Esta monografia tem como objetivo identificar os discursos atribuídos à agenda de privatizações do governo Eduardo Leite pelas principais colunas de opinião política do Rio Grande do Sul. Para isso, foram coletadas 21 notas publicadas nas colunas de opinião das jornalistas Rosane de Oliveira, da Zero Hora, e Taline Oppitz, do Correio do Povo. Na parte teórica da pesquisa, é feita a contextualização da relação entre mídia e poder no Brasil e a descrição das privatizações de CEEE, CRM e Sulgás. A metodologia utilizada foi a análise de discurso de linha francesa, que permitiu a identificação da formação discursiva neoliberal, além dos sentidos ‘adesão ao Regime de Recuperação Fiscal’, ‘virtudes do governo Eduardo Leite’ e ‘enfraquecimento da oposição’. O estudo concluiu que houve a reprodução de um discurso neoliberal, que colaborou com a imagem positiva do governo estadual e de sua agenda econômica.
This monograph aims to identify the discourses attributed to the privatization agenda of Governor Eduardo Leite's administration by the main political opinion columns in Rio Grande do Sul. To achieve this, 21 opinion pieces published by journalists Rosane de Oliveira, from Zero Hora, and Taline Oppitz, from Correio do Povo, were collected. The theoretical framework contextualizes the relationship between media and power in Brazil, and describes the privatizations of CEEE, CRM, and Sulgás. The research methodology employed was french discourse analysis, which facilitated the identification of neoliberal discursive formation, alongside the themes 'adherence to the Fiscal Recovery Regime', 'virtues of the Eduardo Leite government', and 'weakening of the opposition'. The study concluded that there was a reproduction of a neoliberal discourse that contributed to the positive image of the state government and its economic agenda. |
