| Abstract: | O presente trabalho tem por objetivo central organizar de forma coerente a evolução e estrutura do pensamento ocidental ao longo da história da humanidade. Buscou-se estabelecer quais seriam os principais pontos que marcaram e influenciaram as relações existentes entre o momento histórico, a sociedade, traços da cultura e o indivíduo. Sustentando o processo de secularização como pano de fundo, buscou-se compreender seus desdobramentos na esfera coletiva e individual, culminando numa possível leitura dos tempos atuais, mais especificamente da subjetividade contemporânea. A grande passagem da concepção medieval para a visão moderna do mundo trouxe consequências importantes, influenciando de forma decisiva a condução dos assuntos da vida humana coletiva e individual. A horizontalização dos laços sociais que eclodiu a partir do fenômeno da globalização abriu precedentes para o surgimento de uma nova era: denominada por Gilles Lipovetsky de hipermodernidade. Entendida como a modernidade elevada a sua máxima potência, alguns aspectos tomam força e se sobressaem com mais nitidez: é o tempo do hiperindivíduo, do hiperconsumo e do hipernarcisismo. Livre das amarras da tradição, da verticalidade, da filiação ao Deuspai, o hiperindivíduo dá sinais de que algo não vai bem.
The main purpose of this study is to organize in a coherent way the evolution and structure of the western thought throughout the humanity history. It was intended to set what would be the main issues that marked and influenced existing relations between historical periods, society, culture traces and man as an individual. Supporting secularization process as environment, it was tried to comprehend its unfolded issues at collective and individual sphere, culminating in a possible reading of the current period, more specifically the contemporary subjectivity. The big step through the medieval conception to world modern vision brought us important consequences, influencing in a decisive format the manner human life in collective and individual was driven. The social relations brought to a horizontal format that came out from the globalization phenomenon released precedent happenings for a new age birth: it was names by Gilles Lipovetsky as Hypermodernity. Understood as modernity taken to its maximum existing level, some aspects get high importance and come to clearness: it is hyper-individual, hyper-consumption and hyper-narcissism times. Free from tradition ties, vertical format, filiations to God, the hyper-individual give some signs that something is not going well. |
