| Resumo: | A tese tem como tema o Regime Militar. A mesma investiga as idéias e as imagens que o representam nos livros didáticos de História do Ensino Médio. É constituída por três capítulos: o primeiro, a partir de uma bibliografia atualizada, quando foram empreendidos diálogos entre História, História Cultural, História da Educação e o livro didático como lócus de pesquisa. A seguir traça um panorama da realidade dos estudos, que atualmente temam o livro didático no Brasil como fonte de investigação. Também apresenta os três momentos da pesquisa, quando são explicitados os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados. O segundo, que a partir da produção historiográfica clássica e recente aborda o ensino e o livro didático de História no âmbito da Educação Brasileira. Já, o terceiro realiza um levantamento do espaço destinado pelos autores de livros didáticos para a temática investigada; também aborda a contextualização histórica, a verificação dos fatos, conceitos e análise das imagens (fotografias) que representam o Regime Militar e que acabaram por auxiliar para a sua sacralização. Por fim, chegou-se as Considerações Finais. Esse estudo conclui que em um comparativo entre os livros mais antigos (1967/1988) e os mais recentes (1995/2005) houve um crescimento qualitativo no espaço destinado à abordagem da temática. Percebe-se que não ocorreu um crescimento significativo em termos de qualidade. O mesmo acontece quando os fatos, conceitos e imagens são verificados. Espera-se que com este estudo, a referida temática torne-se objeto de maior exploração nos espaços destinados ao ensino e à pesquisa.
The theme of this thesis is the Military Regime. The study investigates the ideas and images that represent this regime in textbooks of history in high school. It is composed by three chapters: the first one is based on an updated bibliography, when dialogues among History, Cultural History, Education History and the textbooks were the locus of the research. Then the thesis describes the reality of the studies that currently uses textbooks as a source of research in Brazil. It also shows the three stages of the study, when the used methodological procedures are explained. The second one, which is based on a classic and current historiographic deals with the History textbook in the scope of Brazilian Education. The third chapter accomphishes a survey about the space used bay the authors of textbooks to the investigated theme, it also approaches the historical contextualization, the verification of facts, concepts and analysis of the images (pictures) that represent the Military Regime and helped its sacralization. At least, it shows the conclusions. This research concludes that in a comparative study between the oldest books (1967/1988) and the most recent ones there was a quantitative increase in the space devoted to the subject. It can be noticed that doesn’t occur a significant increase in the quality. The same happens when the facts, concepts and images are verified. It is hoped with this study that the reported theme will be more studied in the spaces dedicated to teaching and research. |
