| Abstract: | A presente dissertação de Mestrado é composta por dois estudos, seguindo as normas do programa de Pós-Graduação em Psicologia da PUCRS. O primeiro estudo é uma revisão da literatura intitulada Adoção e Queixas na Psicoterapia Psicanalítica de Crianças: revisão da literatura, que teve como objetivos: 1) examinar estudos que abordam a relação da adoção com queixas apresentadas pelas crianças adotadas, 2) analisar fatores que podem resultar em prejuízo no processo de adoção e, consequentemente, nas queixas apresentadas pelas crianças adotadas, 3) refletir sobre aspectos que possam contribuir na prevenção de problemas nos casos de adoção. Para este estudo, foram realizadas buscas nas bases de dados Bvs, Webofscience, Lilacs e SciELO, a partir dos descritores adoção, psicoterapia, criança(s), para verificar estudos sobre este tema e obteve-se quarenta ocorrências. Destas, apenas sete estão relacionadas diretamente com o foco do estudo em questão, ou seja, as crianças adotadas, sendo necessário, então, ampliar a busca para o tema da adoção, de forma geral, buscando, além de artigos, livros e capítulos de livros, mesmo que em busca manual em bibliotecas universitárias (PUCRS e UFRGS). Constatou-se que a maioria dos estudos relacionados ao tema adoção aborda as questões sociais. As pesquisas destinadas a discutir a relação da adoção com as queixas apresentadas pelas crianças adotadas, em relação àquelas não adotadas, na busca de atendimento psicoterápico, mostram-se, no entanto, contraditórias e de difícil generalização, uma vez que existem inúmeras variáveis neste processo.O segundo estudo - Existe diferença nas queixas apresentadas pelas crianças adotadas e nas não adotadas no momento da busca de atendimento psicoterápico? - teve como objetivo identificar as queixas que trazem crianças adotadas a tratamento psicoterápico verificando se estas queixas diferem das queixas das crianças não adotadas. Para tal, classificaram-se as queixas das crianças adotadas que buscaram atendimento psicológico, em duas clínicas-escola em Porto Alegre, e foram analisadas as variáveis sociodemográficas (idade, sexo, configuração familiar, escolaridade, idade da adoção) e variáveis clínicas (fonte de encaminhamento e queixas). Buscou-se examinar a relação entre queixas e o fato de ser ou não adotado e, ainda, a relação entre queixas e idade da adoção. Os resultados mostram que, não existem diferenças significativas, do ponto de vista estatístico, entre as queixas referidas pelas crianças adotadas e pelas crianças não adotadas (χ2 = 11,890; df = 8; p = 0,156), assim como em relação às queixas e à idade da adoção (x² = 13, 563; df= 24; p = 0,956). Tais resultados são discutidos à luz da literatura sobre adoção com enfoque psicanalítico. Conhecer as queixas apresentadas pelas crianças adotadas oportuniza a melhoria dos atendimentos em clínicas-escola e a implantação de projetos de prevenção.
The present Master’s degree thesis is made up by two studies, according to the guidelines of the Post Graduate Program in Psychology of PUCRS. The first study is a revision of the literature entitled Adoption and Complaints in Psychoanalytical Psychology of Children: revision of the literature, that aimed at: 1) examining studies that approach the relation between adoption and complaints presented by the adopted children, 2) analyzing factors that may eventually harm to the adoption process and, consequently, in the complaints presented by the adopted children, 3) reflecting upon aspects that may contribute with the prevention of problems in the adoption cases. For this study, searches in the Bvs, Webofscience, Lilacs e SciELO databases were carried out based on the descriptors adoption, psychotherapy, child(ren), to check on studies on these theme having been found forty occurrences. Out of these, only seven are related directly with the focus of the study in question, that is, the adopted children, being it thus necessary, to enhance the search to the theme adoption in a general sense, searching, besides articles, books and book chapters, even by doing a manual search in university libraries (PUCRS and UFRGS). It was found that the majority of studies related to the theme of adoption approaches social issues. The research works designed to discuss the relation of adoption to the complaints presented by the adopted children, seeking psychotherapeutic assistance, however, prove to be contradictory in relation to those non adopted, and difficult to generalize, since there are numberless variables in this process.The second study – Is there a difference in the complaints presented by the adopted children and the non adopted children at the time they seek psychotherapeutic assistance? – aimed at identifying the complaints brought by the adopted children to the psychotherapeutic treatment checking whether these complaints differ from the complaints made by the non adopted children. In this respect, the complaints of the adopted children who sought psychological assistance in two schoolclinics in, having been examined the sociodemographic variables (age, gender, family arrangement, school degree, age of adoption) and clinical variables (source of complaint forwarding). It was sought to examine the relation between the complaints and whether the child was or not adopted and, still, the relation between the complaints and the age of adoption. The results show that there are no significant differences, from the statistical point of view, between the referred complaints by the adopted children and the non adopted ones (χ2 = 11. 890; df = 8; p = 0. 156), as well as the relation of complaints and the age of adoption (x² = 13. 563; df= 24; p = 0. 956). Such results are discussed in the light of the literature on adoption with a psychoanalytical focus. Learning about the complaints presented by the adopted children allows to improve the service delivered by school-clinics and the implementation of prevention projects. |
