| Abstract: | O estudo sobre o direito à educação e à cidadania continua sendo uma necessidade e um desafio, principalmente no que se refere às mulheres em lugares periféricos como a comunidade do Morro da Cruz. Apesar dos significativos avanços proporcionados pelas lutas históricas, em especial no que diz respeito à educação formal das mulheres, os resultados dessas lutas não atingiram as margens de forma efetiva. Assim, o presente estudo procurou compreender se seria a efetivação do direito à educação uma possibilidade para o exercício da cidadania para meninas e mulheres da comunidade do Morro da Cruz. Para obtenção de dados que possibilitassem responder à questão colocada, foi utilizada como abordagem metodológica a história de vida com recorte na escola e nas experiências que envolvem a vida escolar. O estudo foi fundamentado na teoria do reconhecimento de Honneth e na forma como ele entende a construção do indivíduo nas três esferas do reconhecimento: a do amor, a da estima social ou da solidariedade, e a do direito. A teoria do reconhecimento de Honneth foi utilizada em diálogo com outros(as) autores(as) que pensaram a realidade da educação no Brasil, os direitos de cidadania, as desigualdades de gênero, a luta feminista, a crítica ao feminismo generalizado, as desigualdades (subalternidades) e a oposição do outro. A forma como a identidade do indivíduo vai sendo construída e reconhecida ou não nas três esferas do reconhecimento de Honneth, de certa maneira, vai resultar em sua vida e, principalmente, na sua educação. Por essa razão, este texto procurou trazer tanto a questão do trabalho e da moradia quanto de outros direitos de cidadania para mostrar como a falta deles influenciaram e influenciam o acesso das meninas e mulheres à educação formal e, como consequência, a impossibilidade do exercício de cidadania. Também foi possível perceber algumas brechas nas políticas públicas que uma minoria encontra e que pode servir como uma trilha para novos horizontes.
The study about the education and citizenship rights continues to be a need and a challenge, especially when is considered women in countryside areas such as the community of Morro da Cruz. Despite significant advances in historical struggles, especially with regard to women's formal education, the results of these struggles did not reach the margins effectively. Thus, the present study sought to understand if it would be the implementation of the right to education a possibility for the exercise of citizenship for girls and women of the community of Morro da Cruz. To obtain data that could answer the question asked, a methodological approach was used to describe the life history with a cut in the school and in the experiences that involve the school life. The study was based on Honneth's theory of recognition and on how he understands the construction of the individual in the three spheres of recognition: love, social esteem or solidarity, and law. Honneth's theory of recognition was used in dialogue with other authors who thought the reality of education in Brazil, rights of citizenship, gender inequalities, feminist struggle, criticism of generalized feminism, inequalities (subalternities) and the opposition of the other. The way the individual's identity is being built and recognized or not in the three spheres of Honneth's recognition, in a way, will result in his life and especially in his education. For this reason, this text sought to bring both the issue of work and housing and other rights of citizenship to show how their lack influenced and influenced the access of girls and women to formal education and, as a consequence, the impossibility of exercising citizenship. It was also possible to perceive some gaps in the public policies that a minority finds and that can serve as a trail for new horizons. |
