Contribuições de uma Unidade de Aprendizagem sobre estatística com o recurso da planilha

Abstract

O presente trabalho objetiva investigar as contribuições de uma Unidade de Aprendizagem para a aplicação de conceitos estatísticos com o uso da planilha. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada com alunos do sexto ano do Ensino Fundamental, em uma escola municipal na periferia da região metropolitana de Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. A análise partiu da identificação dos conhecimentos prévios dos alunos sobre conceitos estatísticos e a utilização do computador. A partir das respostas obtidas em um questionário de investigação inicial, deu-se a elaboração e organização da Unidade de Aprendizagem. Com base nas observações da professora pesquisadora e na análise dos materiais produzidos pelos discentes, investigou-se como se dá a compreensão sobre os conceitos estatísticos por meio de uma Unidade de Aprendizagem com o uso da planilha. Os resultados apontaram para uma evolução no nível de letramento estatístico dos estudantes participantes e se observou, também, mudanças positivas em termos comportamentais e de convivência em grupo.

This paper aims to analyze the contributions of a Learning Unit for the application of statistical concepts using the spreadsheet. The field research was conducted with students in their sixth year of elementary school in a school hall on the outskirts of the metropolitan area of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. The analysis was the identification of students' prior knowledge of statistical concepts and computer use. From the responses received to a questionnaire given initial investigation is the preparation and organization of the Learning Unit. Based on observations of teacher and researcher in the analysis of the materials produced by students, we investigate how is the understanding of statistical concepts through a Learning Unit with the use of spreadsheet features. The results showed a trend in the level of statistical literacy of participating students, it also noted positive changes in behavioral terms and their relationships in the group.
