| Abstract: | O presente trabalho aborda as semelhanças e diferenças entre os mitos antigo e contemporâneo, através das obras A canção dos Nibelungos, datada do século VIII, de autoria anônima, e O senhor dos anéis, produzido no século XX, por J. R. R. Tolkien. Para tanto, tomaremos por base para essa busca a teoria de Joseph Campbell sobre a aventura mítica, além de autores que discutem o mito ontem e hoje. A dissertação, assim, se estrutura através de quatro capítulos, abrangendo a teoria sobre o mito, sua permanência na atualidade e a aventura mítica, para posteriormente aplicar aos heróis Siegfried e Frodo, das respectivas obras citadas. Conclui-se que a aventura mítica é diferente para ambos, mas que demonstra a tentativa de o homem sempre melhorar sua situação perante os demais, em busca do êxito.
The recent treats about similarites and diferences between the contemporany and old myths, phrough the masterpiece Nibelung’s Song, dated on 8th century, of autonomous authory, and The lord of the rings, by J. R. R. Tolkien. For this way, we take on bases for this research theory of Joseph Campbell about the mythic adventure, besides the authors who discuss the myth in the past and nowdays. The dissertation, therefore, is structured in four chapters, covering the theory of myth, his stay in the present and mythic adventure, to subsequently apply to the heroes Siegfried and Frodo, their works cited. It is concluded that the mythical adventure is different to both, but it shows the man trying to always improve their situation at all, in search of success. |
